The Court of Appeal overturned our court victory that struck down key parts of Ontario’s ag gag law.
Once again, it’s ILLEGAL for whistleblowers to get jobs at factory farms to expose animal abuse.
The stakes are too high—which is why we'll seek leave to appeal to the Supreme Court.

🐴💔 ANOTHER SHIPMENT: This week, more terrified horses were loaded into wooden crates & exported from Canada to Japan for slaughter.
During these gruelling journeys, horses are denied food, water, & rest until they reach their destination. Injuries & deaths are common.
Tell the government to keep its promise & BAN this cruelty now ➡️ https://t.co/VL5LN5hNBE

Look at their faces, & you'll see their stories of despair, desperation, & terror—THIS is how monkeys go from breeding facilities to labs 💔
Whether they're abducted from their forest homes or purposefully bred, they're all being flown to their deaths for animal experimentation.
@TheHaileyHunter Sorry to see you go. What a stupid thing for them to do to you. You were the best. We will miss you. I liked getting to hear you call them by their nicknames, same as the team would do. You were awesome. Best of luck to you.
💔 16-year-old Lola has tragically been found dead after she was stolen from her doorstep and dropped over half a mile away. 😡
Shocking footage captured the moment a man and a woman led the tabby cat away from outside her house.
Days later, her owner received a call saying Lola had been found dead under a car outside a nearby primary school.
Vets told her family that the elderly pet died from dehydration on her attempted journey home during the high temperatures.
Her owner, Naseem Aktar, says the loss has broken her heart.
"Lola was like a child to us – she was a member of the family. She was a non-vocal cat, so she couldn’t make noises, but it breaks my heart, as you can see her struggling to get away in the videos," she said.
The family believe Lola was taken to an address over half a mile away before being released to make her own way back.
Because Lola was an indoor cat who was terrified of cars, her owner says she would have had no idea how to navigate the busy main roads. 😢
She later contacted police, but says she is angry after officers told her they would not be taking the matter any further.
Naseem claims she was told the couple would not be charged because no offences had been committed, despite her pushing for charges under animal welfare and theft laws.
"It also disgusts me that the police aren’t taking action. This couple are responsible for Lola’s death, yet they don’t seem to care," she said.
Lola was buried in the family's back garden, surrounded by roses and flowers.
Police said they are aware of the alleged theft but have closed the crime due to insufficient evidence after exhausting all lines of enquiry.
RIP Lola, it breaks our hearts to think about what you went through 💔
@domdyer70 I'm furious that no one is charged in her theft and death. I lost two cats to a woman, and I use that term loosely, who captured them when they went on her property, sprayed them down with a hose and drowned them. No outside cats now. Ever.
@AnnaWer12662335@domdyer70 I really hope we get to see them again. And in the meantime, I hope mine have found each other. RIP Lola. You were loved. What happened is a crime. No justice for her, which is stupid and nonsense and so very wrong.

Hopefully he’ll be made to ‘pay for it’ with a CUSTODIAL sentence!! 😡
The scumbag who hurled a rock at Lani, the endangered monk seal in Maui, is 37-year-old Igor Lytvynchuk from Seattle.
When confronted by onlookers the sicko replied: “I don't care, I'm rich, fine me. I can pay for it.”
He has since been detained, but has yet to be charged as the case has been referred to federal investigators. He must be held accountable.
Anyone who would assault and harm an endangered animal like Lani is a danger to the entire planet and belongs behind bars.
As for Lani, she is ok! A marine biologist went to check on her and it appears she is going to make a full recovery.
