@esjesjesj chocolate is a elastic demand but lets make the item rice now rice is inelastic but agriculture is still the biggest factor in child labour so if a company wants to sell rice to fund their brand which for this lets say looks for cures to cancer, would u disregard their effect.
@esjesjesj I see your point here and I agree that he is in a industry that is highly involved in the issue, however we cannot ignore the fact that what Jimmy is doing is in the name of his brand. You can’t undermine his accomplishments for being associated with a issue.
@esjesjesj Yes but at that point you can’t really use it as a argument because your mostly fighting the suppliers with the issue. Since most of Cacao is in Africa when handling a bigger market you will need a larger supply and these companies are just getting this from the supplier.
@esjesjesj Okay this one seems a bit controversial because as they have had correlations with issues of child labour. Feastables is currently in the list of trusted/slave free chocolate companies so unless you have cold hard proof of Child labour now,I think its hard to use it as a poi
@esjesjesj I get its hard to believe all 100 wells, but for your other points normally water found underground are safe and cleaner than polluted water. For the labour part I’m not really sure how it would work because the hole to access the water is way too small for any person.
