During my diploma time in school, two of my neighbors used to do school father and school mother to other neighbors that are fresher.
This SF and SM are so close that we thought they were dating but they denied the accusation, but most morning SF is always having the Muslim holy bath. One day Rat entered my room and my cousin came around with her friend, we were hearing the pounding because the SF’s room was beside mine. Guess who he was Pounding ? SM. We saw her when she came outside of his room. Since that day I and my cousin caught her, she stopped talking to me😹
My area friend said her mother-in-law eavesdrops whenever she and her husband are “doing the do.”
The worst part? She’ll later tell her son, “Take it easy on your wife, that’s why you’re getting slim.”
I didn’t know whether to laugh or feel embarrassed for them😂😭
@veekeeuche I'm really hoping for the day my man would gladly say ooh that's for my wife,my wife amongst people ..I so much love those words coming from a genuine man
My Aunty attended her class reunion for the first time. Her colleagues were surprised and happy to see her after a very long time.
A very old friend approached her and told her that in case any of them asked her of money, she shouldn't give them that it is a common habit amongst them and that they won't pay back.
My aunt took the advice. And she remained friends with the woman even after the reunion, they spoke on phone regularly. After one month, she told my aunt to borrow her 2m that she wanted to restock her shop and that she would refund her in a week time when the loan she's processing falls through.... my aunt borrowed her 1m. All of a sudden, the woman stopped calling and stopped answering my aunt's calls. Weeks went by, and she did not refund the money.
My aunt reached out to one of their classmates, a male. She told him what had happened. It was then the guy told her that, he's also a victim of that woman, that the first time it happened, he told her not to ignore his calls again, that he gave her the money, not borrow. So she borrowed a second time, and since then, she stopped talking to him. It was then my aunt's realised a 58-year-old woman duped her.
I'm not married, but these are the few things I've learnt:
1. Never ever share the secrets of your past with your husband. He will use them against you.
2. Marry a man who is financially capable and responsible.
3. Don't give up your job or career for any man.
4. When he shows you what he's like, don't try to change him. He'll treat you exactly how he feels about you.
5. Don't make him your whole world. Have a life outside him.
6. Don't let him know you can help him financially. He might resent you for that.
7. Do not move into his parents' house, except your house is under renovation.
8. Don't marry the person you love, marry the person who loves you.
9. Don't get pregnant because he wants a child. Get pregnant because you are ready and capable of it.
Bonus: Study yourself and patterns. Do what works for you.
My friend used to live close to my house, she was broke and shy at that time. No matter how hungry she was, she won't come to my place to eat or even tell, but I do find out she was hungry. We, on the other hand, have a freezer stocked with full chicken, pepper, and other proteins. So, at times, I would sneak out food for her.
So on this fateful day, I promised her a full chicken, I told her to wait for me at our gate. Only for me to realise mummy was sitting at the spot where she would easily know what is going on in the house. I took the chicken and carefully shut the freezer, and then put it in the trash bucket and covered it with dirt. I pretended i wanted to dump the refuse. My friend was already waiting, she saw the chicken in the trash can with dirt, she cried, I cried and felt sorry too.
She was grateful and promised never to forget my kindness, but even if she forgets, I will never forget.
