In my piece, I argue that Western governments must stop treating the Kurds as a merely transactional ally, and instead recognize that a permanent, stable partnership is essential, not only for the future of the Middle East, but for global security and for the moral credibility of the West itself.

Görüyorum ki bazı kötü niyetli çevreler, gündemde olan bir sanatçının paylaşımını bahane ederek meseleyi Kürtlerin birliğini parçalayacak bir mecraya çekmeye çalışıyorlar. Kendilerine "Kürt Milliyetçisi" gibi yapay ve iddialı isimler yakıştırarak, güya dokunulmaz ve kutsal bir zırha bürünmeye yelteniyorlar.

Yine esefle şahit oluyorum ki, işinize gelmediği için benim de ismimi ve paylaşımlarımı karalamaya yelteniyor; Kürt halkının kutsal birliğine korkunç zararlar verecek argümanlar üretmeye çabalıyorsunuz.

Eğer kalbim bu davanın aleyhine, halkımın zararına çarpacak olursa, onu göğsümden söküp fırlatmaktan bir an bile imtina etmem!
Kuşkusuz insanız; hatalarımız olur ve olacaktır. Eksiklerimiz var ve var olmaya devam edecektir. Aramızda suç işleyenler de çıkabilir. Fakat tüm bunları tartacak, eğriyle doğruyu birbirinden ayıracak yegâne terazi; yukarıda bahsettiğim o sarsılmaz Kürt ve Kürdistani duruştur, harcanan o ömürlük emektir.

Kurds in Iran have resisted the regime for decades. Their struggle is rooted in dignity, identity, language, and basic rights long denied to them.

This struggle did not begin with the Islamic Republic. #Kurds were already demanding constitutional and linguistic rights under the Shah, when #Kurdish cultural and political demands were also severely suppressed.

I’ve tried to address some of the misconceptions out there and provide critical context about the significance and drivers of this situation as far as Iranian Kurds in Iran (and Iraq) are concerned.

"Monitoring reactions in Kurdish media and social media spaces, as well as conversations with Kurdish observers across the region, indicates that many Kurds view potential participation in the conflict as both a risky gambit and a historic opportunity. Today is truly a great day for Kurds, Balochs, and all the Iranian people, as Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is finally gone. For decades, this oppressive regime’s leaders have executed thousands of Kurdish people and other opponents through hangings and brutal repression.

Now the big question: Is the goal here just a change in leadership, or a full regime change? I truly hope it is the latter, without bloodshed of innocent people.
