Today, 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐚 𝐊𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐥, founder of the Orange House Project, passed away after injuries sustained when an Israeli strike hit her home in Mansouri.

She refused to leave the place she loved, staying through two wars just meters from the beach and the sea turtles she spent her life protecting.

For more than two decades, she dedicated herself to preserving that coastline, turning her home into a sanctuary and protecting a fragile ecosystem she called her life’s work.

Report from yesterday’s Douweir massacre, where five civilians were killed and two wounded.

Israel has committed several massacres in the last days, including in Deir Qanoun, where several women and children were killed.

The Lebanese ministry of health today reported today that 3,089 civilians have been killed and 9,397.

More than 200 of those killed were children.
