You know the economy is bad when esports teams have gamble sponsors, and it’s starting to become more “normal”

My dad is a gamble addict, and I can tell you that it doesn’t end well

Not for him, and neither for the family

I have friends that gambled all their money away, and haven’t recovered yet (years later)

All of the people that are taking betting sponsors, are indirectly ruining lives of people that they don’t see

I don’t blame anyone for taking a sponsor, especially if it’s out of necessity.

but someone that has a insane legacy, is just sad

I have personally done speed roulette for fun with friends (god knows why i did it)

I woke up every morning without eating breakfast or anything else and I’d spin that shit for hours

For some reason I got banned, and I couldn’t play anymore.

Then randomly a month after when I was bored I tried to deposit money again (couldn’t)

THANK GOD I got somehow blocked, and didn’t look for any alternatives

Not everyone will get that lucky, and not everyone can just stop

This polymarket that is showing up everywhere is gonna remind people about gambling, and that is very bad. Especially for the people that are genuinely trying to quit

Especially with the economy not looking that hot, and inflation is a real thing

People will find alternatives to escape reality, and hope they get rich

Gambling sadly ain’t it

And if you are a gamble addict and you can’t stop it

Send your money to a closed one if you have to, think of any way to make it harder for yourself to gamble. And hopefully it’ll get out of your system.

Not speaking from experience here. I just know from the people around me how BAD it can get
