Hi @FlyWithLEVEL - airline changed my flight due to flight changes. I approved but only one leg was changed not both. Not sure what happened. Now reservation shows I fly on 3/31 from Venice to Barc. My leg from barc to LAC is on 3/30. Supposed to be same day. Help please!

I have good news.

The Immigration Minister has today intervened and granted Mohamed Barghachoun permanent residency. Mohamed is deaf, and was almost forced to leave Australia due to a migration agent’s bad work. The ABC’s story attracted pro bono legal help. Here he is!

@jmhenner Use it more and you will see it’s much better than zoom - but I get the pinning part. The newest features coming out uses AI to do note taking and capture action items. I use it to quickly build planner tasks and libraries for short project sprints. Very effective.

@AsmCervantes @TonyThurmond the schools but can’t with low pay compared to local districts. As a parent of two Deaf Latinx children at CSDR, I am concerned - what can I do to bring attention to this issue? (2/2)

@AsmCervantes @TonyThurmond Love this but could we increase pay to be competitive with local school districts? I hear stories of diverse teachers for the Deaf working at local school districts instead of CSD schools because of the pay disparity. They need to increase staff diversity at (1/2)

@RyanTrabuco She’s been this way 2 decades now. I interned for her in 04. Weird experience. Served on central comm 06-08 but didn’t run again since Durfee & team weren’t interested w/ accomms. Only Todd would provide interps at his fundraisers. Hear the party is diff now and more diverse.

Completely forgot about her until this showed up on feed & I wanted to see what has was up to and she blocked me. Haven’t said anything about her for over a decade… she’s unqualified and not a friend of the disability comm.

@vosdscott He didn’t look bulked up about two weeks ago - I think he is just wearing some clothes underneath and a tighter than normal jersey. His legs look the same -always had muscular thighs to give him that push through his swing.

@LorenaSGonzalez Disabled. In dc I had to recertify every five years and in sd it’s the same. People with physical disabilities don’t improve - why put a disability tax on the disabled to go through hurdles to get disability cards for public transportation. That’s the travesty.

@LorenaSGonzalez Disability. The cost of making an appointment and arranging for transportation for these appts was a lot. When I was poor and struggling it was a big burden and even when I had made it with a good job I still had to take a personal day off just to go re-certify that I am (/2)

@LorenaSGonzalez Unfortunately has a fee. I tried to find the fee online but could only find one for the Ottawa airport online showing it’s a 6 dollar fee. Likely to cover the cost of the card. Similar to buying those pronto cards for the trolley.
