Your official source for takes that are too hot for Twitter

We would all do well to remember the process we use to cite sources in our academics and apply that same thinking to how we consume our news and media. Instead of just taking the first things you see at face value, actually do your damn research.

If you’re a democrat in a big city, most of your friends likely are too, same with republicans in rural areas.

Social media only shows us what you and your friends with the same biases ‘want to see’— i.e. what’s going to keep you on the page.

I feel like if people understood the tools that were being used to manipulate them we’d have a better chance of making it out okay.

Whether you’re a Republican or a Democrat, internet and tv media have the power to influence our thinking in ways we don’t talk about enough.

I’m clearly happy that Biden won, but I’m scared about the fact that America will continue to exist in 2 different realities.

We, as a people, seem to be losing our ability to discern truth from fiction.

Too bad though that if you’re reading this and you lack the critical thinking skills to understand how voting works that you won’t give a shit about logic anyway

From here on out my Twitter is just going to be Bourbon-induced, melancholic, introspective musings about the world ...

@BiancaCanales @DayNVegas2019 So glad I’m not the only one saying this. That dude didn’t even convincingly SOUND like Kendrick the whole time. He wasn’t talking between songs bc it wasn’t him 🚫🧢

I get on twitter for the first time in years only to find that I’m somehow following hundreds of accounts that I’ve never once looked at...
