Ever since my neighbor’s wife got promoted…the kind of promotion that comes with a car and other benefits…she changed completely. 💔💔

She started talking to him anyhow.

She started coming home late.

She stopped cooking.

Recently, something horrible happened.

Her husband was waiting for her downstairs for a lift because they both work in the same area.

She came downstairs, saw him waiting, and clearly and loudly told him, “Get a cab. I’m not driving you to work.”

This was actually the first time he had asked her for a lift since she got the car.

Now, this is where it gets interesting. 🤨

He came to my apartment last night seeking honest and candid advice:

Him: I want to take a loan from my company to get a car.

Me: Why? Don’t tell me it’s because of your wife.

Him: I can’t take the insult and disrespect anymore.

Me: I understand, but calm down first.

Him: Bro, I can’t. Ever since she got promoted, she has clearly forgotten that I was the one who got her the job.

I was and still am taking good care of our home.

I still provide, and mind you, she contributes little to nothing of her money at home.

Me: I feel you, bro, but truthfully you shouldn’t be thinking about taking a loan just to buy a car.

You are not in competition with your wife……
