Jason Kelce says he’s worried the NFL is slowly drifting away from the Sunday football tradition fans grew up on, via @newheightshow:
“Sunday is the NFL, and everybody sets their week around tuning in to the games happening on Sunday. I worry that we’re getting away from that just a little bit by building too much of this.”
Kyle Busch wasn’t just one of the fiercest competitors our sport has ever seen, he was one of the most talented race car drivers I’ve ever shared a track with. We spent years as teammates at Hendrick Motorsports, and even as competitors, there was always a deep respect for what he could do behind the wheel.
Kyle pushed all of us to be better. His passion, intensity, and love for racing were unmatched, and his impact on this sport will be felt forever.
I'll always remember the many laughs and conversations away from the spotlight, and most importantly the way he cared so deeply about his family.
My heart goes out to Samantha, Brexton, Lennix, Kurt, his parents, many teammates across the industry, fans and everyone who loved Kyle.
NASCAR lost one of its greatest talents today, and we've all lost a friend.
Mike Vrabel has addressed the media:
“I did something this offseason that I am deeply ashamed of. If I have hurt anyone out there, I can't tell you how much I say from the bottom of my heart I'm so very, very sorry. I pride myself and think of myself as a man of faith, as there's a drive into deep left field by Castellanos and that'll be a home run. And so that'll make it a 4-0 ballgame. I don't know if I'm going to be at this podium again.”
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said today “there’s no question” the NFL will play in Australia again, adding that it’s a long-term plan and not a one-off or a circus.
The NFL’s first Australia game will be in Week 1, with the #49ers and #Rams playing. It will be Friday morning local time when the two teams actually play.

Rob Schneider says the United States “must restore the military draft for our nation’s young people” amid the ongoing war with Iran:
“Being a citizen of the United States gives us unparalleled Freedoms and opportunities that are the envy of the world. However, these Freedoms that we cherish do not come without a cost.”
