@Swurv__ 2 in the same vein: homogenous hardware in theory means less potential bugs and thus easier to dry l find and patch since you dont need to worry about gpu variations.
3. While not impossible, it's harder for people to hack consoles, reducing cheater presence in lobbies.
@Swurv__ Steelman:
While the primary reason is in the hardware side, there are benefits to having a game exclusive to a console
1. Homogenous hardware means the game performs the same way on every console, users don't need to worry if their console has the specs to run a game.
@Suvolicious@NoContextHumans One is a potato grown in the middle of the country
The other is a bunch of fruits imported from various tropical regions.
Also the fruit is mostly sugar and not healthy in such a quantity.
@Foxythegod27@Keepcalm8156@KatyCreep7 The sequence was two events mirroring each other.
Red dot = pre circus, finding the original mind scans and starting the circus.
Caine = post deletion, finding a node to access the internet learning about the macro verse and the current casts humans.
@jasperhideshere The only other plausible possibility was that they're all AIs, and the circus was some training program. But then you'd have to answer what is the purpose of having AI advanced enough to be indistinguishable from humans be tortured by an AI that barely understands humanity.
@jasperhideshere I mean, what other ending would've made sense?
Computer Steals the human consciousness? Leaves a body behind
C&A employees hiding in the office waiting to move bodies to stasis pods? Too far fetched
Tron style digitizer? Why would they abandon that project?
@NotJoshart My favorite is the "it was predictable" complaint.
That's what happens when you let thousands of obsessive autists scattershot theories around for 3 years, some of them hit.
Only way to prevent that is to do some out of left field ending that will likely raise further questions
@AndreaAmodio6@ohmycss_ The Void is likely unused space on the computer's hard drive, when a file gets deleted it doesn't actually get deleted until those sectors on the drive get overwritten by a different file.
@bakujok3s I've seen multiple "heavily implieds" get shut down by the creators. So that's not necessarily a good metric.
That being said, in this case, the implication has a gravitational field. You have to be actively burning thrusters to avoid coming to the conclusion.
@EmyVioleto 2. Select the recycle bin and select empty recycle bin, this also doesn't delete the file, but it marks it as space on the HDD that is allowed to be used for footie future files.
3. Add new files to the HDD until those spots on the drive are overwritten.
