@sneed_emmanuel@chungchingkwong Stop calling it aid like you’re running a soup kitchen. BNO isn’t charity. It’s British Nationals Overseas. A legal status created by the UK, under the Crown. Rights aren’t handouts. Equal treatment is the baseline, not a favour.
@charliekirk11 Rest in peace, Charlie. Your debates showed that dialogue matters, even without agreement. It’s tragic that violence replaced conversation . My thoughts are with your family in this painful time.

An outrageous betrayal of Hong Kong.
So much for “we will always stand with the people of Hong Kong”. Suspending extradition was about the only thing the UK did to hold Beijing accountable.
Now those who left their homes to come to the UK will be living under constant fear.
Very disturbing. With the UK’s extradition treaty with Hong Kong back in place, HK can demand extradition of dissidents for any number of exaggerated or falsified charges. Even if the courts eventually rule against extradition, it will be a tool to harass activists and upend their lives.
In my testimony on Hong Kong’s democracy and human rights before the @SenateForeign@SFRCdems’s Subcommittee yesterday, I highlighted the tightened #PrisonRules.
The Hong Kong authorities now seeks total isolation of opposition figures rather than just arrest and prosecution.
Government plans to reintroduce extradition cooperation with Hong Kong are highly concerning.
Why does the Government deem this reasonable when freedom of expression, political freedom and the rule of law in Hong Kong have been crushed by The National Security Law and the extradition of Hong Kongers to mainland China made possible?
I urge the Government to give urgent reassurances on how this system will be safely managed and what protections will be put in place to ensure no Hong Konger, CCP critic or anyone targeted by the CCP will be extradited under the new arrangement.
“The safety and security of Hong Kongers in the UK is of the upmost importance."-- @DanJarvisMBE , 8 April 2025
Of so much importance that they now want to resume the extradition agreement with Hong Kong.

@elonmusk Why is this post being deleted? I wonder is it because your “so called enemies” are laughing so hard right now through their state medias today.
