Right on cue. They've VOTED to come for your VPN.
The minute people reached for their VPNs, the government's own side moved against them. Remember when they SWORE this was only about protecting the children?
This January the House of Lords voted 207 to 159 to ban VPNs for under 18s. Same night, they backed scanning software on every phone and tablet in the country. While you were told to think of the children and it never stops at the children. It never does.
Because you cannot age-check one child without age-checking every adult behind them. The Open Rights Group said it plainly. To use a VPN, you'd hand your ID, your face, your passport, to some unregulated company you've never heard of. Just to use the tool meant to keep you private.
Then they handed the minister the keys to the lot. Any website, any app, any game, shut down on a whim. No vote. No debate. Not a shred of proof a single child was ever harmed and now Kendall pops up to say there's more landing in JULY. Of course there is.
This was never about a child getting around a ban. It was about making sure YOU never get around them.
July isn't an update. It's the next brick in the wall they're building around you.
Oh my goodness gracious.
Zack Polanski has just blamed “financial hardship” for his failure to pay council tax…
He pins the blame on his “misunderstanding” the obligations of living on a narrowboat.
He’s also admitted that he should have taken “greater care” over his tax arrangements while living on the boat.
For context, members of the London Assembly are paid £66,390 per year.
Polanski’s been a member since 2021…
He can most definitely afford to pay council tax!
He’s just a devious, miscreant liar who shouldn’t be a leader of a political party.
Labour related news not platformed by the media in the last two weeks…
- Channel crossings down
- NHS waiting lists down
- Inflation numbers better than expected
Why are some anti acknowledging when the government does deliver?
4.2% is not great to compare to the 70s where people had money only 1 working member and could buy a house and run a car ??? Are you really saying we are better off now ? Certainly didn’t have 1 million kids looking for work or education??
UK Unemployment is down and wages are rising.
Remember every spike in unemployment has been under the @Conservatives
