I also think that with the adrenalin and everything about the situation that it was hard to control the emotions at that time as he was probably thinking that it was the GB riders fault. Very unfortunate.

@Jimbokav1971 @Wimkenk @UCI_Track @inrng I'm well aware of that, but as the Danish team didn't see any flags raised to show the GB team was split it was fair for them to think that the 3 riders was still together. And be honest, the time wouldn't have been good enough to progress only theoretically.

I heard that a flag should be raised to show that the GB team was split and the flag WASN'T raised. Therefore the Danish riders wouldn't expect a single rider on the black line.

@Wimkenk @UCI_Track @inrng @Wimkenk I just heard that a flag should have been raised on the track to show the Danish team that the GB team was split. Since it wasn't raised the Danish team had all reason to not expect a single rider in front of them. This explains it to me.

@UCI_Track Just heard that there should have been raised a flag to show that the GB team was split. That's a rule and the flag wasn't shown. Therefore the Danish riders shouldn't have to worry about single riders in the front. I think that makes good sense and explains the crash.

@Geoffgalvin1 @Voksluj @windygas @UCI_Track That just shows, that it was not in his interest to crash into the GB rider. I think he thought is was the 4th rider of GB who should never be on the racing line. The gap to the 2nd British rider was massive.
