$PERCS is now live.

we forked @toly's Percolator risk engine and built https://t.co/ZfFnNLLr3B to give every memecoin a long and a short side.
for years, perps have been limited to a relatively small selection of tokens.
the problem has always been handling the extreme volatility, limited liquidity, and risk that comes with opening leveraged positions on memecoins.
@toly's Percolator risk engine changes what's possible.
now anyone can create a perpetual market for a memecoin, with up to 3x leverage and positions backed by isolated SOL vaults.
how $PERCS fits into this:
→ 100% of $PERCS creator fees are directed toward funding the SOL vaults that back perpetual markets.
→ anyone can create a market for a memecoin with at least $5,000 in liquidity, without waiting for a centralized exchange to list it.
→ once a market's vault reaches just 1 SOL, it can open for trading.
→ as $PERCS generates more creator fees, additional capital flows into the vaults, helping new markets open and existing markets support more trading activity.
→ each market operates independently, with risk management handled by Percolator and pricing based on the token's underlying DEX liquidity.
we're finishing what @toly started with Percolator, and bringing perpetual futures to memecoins.

Program (mainnet):

finishing up testing on stonk pairs and Raydium pairs.
we've been extending the Percolator risk engine to support more markets beyond the memecoins currently available.
this means you'll soon be able to go long or short on stonks, as well as memecoins trading through Raydium, using the same isolated SOL vault system.
still running through testing and making sure everything works as expected before enabling the new markets.

if you don't understand how @toly's Percolator risk engine works, or why it's better suited for memecoins than traditional perp exchanges like Lighter and Hyperliquid, here's the difference.
traditional perp exchanges rely heavily on deep liquidity and market makers to support leveraged positions.
Percolator doesn't need that same setup.
each market has its own isolated SOL vault, with exposure limits determined by the collateral available. the engine handles margin, liquidations, and bankruptcy, while ensuring traders can't withdraw profits the losing side cannot actually cover.
this allows us to support long and short markets for memecoins with just $5,000 in DEX liquidity and 1 SOL in the vault.

if you run into any bugs while trading on https://t.co/GB2dA0HdEh, please leave a reply below.
also testing the Percolator risk engine with stonk pairs, which would allow you to go long or short on @LaunchOnSF pairs.

domino effect.
guess that's the downside of one red candle. people see a sell, panic, and start selling without even looking at what's being built.
anyways, I'm not going to let that stop me.
nothing changes about the tech or what I'm trying to accomplish here. if you believe in what I'm building and want to get in at these levels, $PERCS is right there.
I genuinely don't think it'll stay this cheap for long.
the first markets are already open, go long or short on any memecoin.
https://t.co/ZfFnNLKTe3
Not sure what caused that sell-off. You guys didn't want to wait a few minutes to see the tech working?
I previously built $PQC, and I'm genuinely optimistic about bringing perpetual futures to memecoins on Solana.
We've forked @toly's Percolator risk engine and built an entire market creation and funding system around it, allowing anyone to create long and short markets for memecoins that would otherwise never get a futures listing.
building continues nonetheless.
the first markets are now open. try going long or short on one of them, test the functionality.

the https://t.co/MBEPkNEp2J program is deployed on Solana mainnet.
it handles market creation, isolated SOL vaults, exposure limits, TWAP-based trading pauses, and the routing of $PERCS creator fees into market vaults.
the program works on top of @toly's Percolator risk engine, which handles margin, liquidations, and settlement.
everything is onchain and publicly verifiable.

how @toly's Percolator risk engine makes it possible to long or short memecoins with limited liquidity.
traditional perp exchanges need substantial liquidity to support leveraged positions and cover potential losses.
Percolator works differently.
every market has its own isolated SOL vault, with position sizes and total exposure limited by the amount of collateral available.
the engine continuously tracks margin, handles liquidations, and ensures profitable positions can only withdraw what the losing side can actually cover.
if a memecoin suddenly pumps 500%, a trader can't withdraw millions in paper profits that nobody on the other side can pay.
any losses remain isolated to that specific market, without affecting the vaults backing other memecoins.
this is how we're able to support long and short markets for memecoins with as little as $5,000 in DEX liquidity and just 1 SOL in the vault.
https://t.co/ZfFnNLKTe3
yes, you can now go long or short on ANY MEMECOIN.
any memecoin with at least $5,000 in liquidity can have its own perpetual market.
creating a market costs just 0.05 SOL (around $5), which goes directly into its isolated SOL vault.
$PERCS creator fees are distributed across market vaults, helping fund the capital required for trading to begin.
once a vault reaches 1 SOL, trading opens automatically, allowing anyone to go long or short with up to 3x leverage.
https://t.co/ZfFnNLKTe3
vaults are now filling.
$PERCS creator fees are being distributed equally across market vaults, gradually building up the SOL required for trading to begin.
once a vault accumulates at least 1 SOL, its market automatically opens for trading, allowing anyone to go long or short with up to 3x leverage.

You can do some pretty amazing things with Fable 5.1 + Astra.
@toly finished his Percolator risk engine, so we forked it and built our own market creation and funding system on top.
traditional perp exchanges like Hyperliquid and Lighter rely on deep liquidity and market makers, making it difficult to support smaller memecoins.
with Percolator, the risk engine takes a different approach. instead of requiring enormous amounts of liquidity, it tracks how much collateral is actually available, limits exposure accordingly, and ensures traders can only withdraw profits that the losing side can cover.
every market has its own isolated SOL vault, with position limits based on the capital available. margin requirements, liquidations, and bankruptcy are all handled by the engine.
this means you can open long and short markets for memecoins with as little as $5,000 in liquidity and just 1 SOL in the vault.
we built https://t.co/ZfFnNLKTe3 around this, with $PERCS creator fees automatically funding the vaults.
memecoins that would normally never get a futures listing can now have their own long and short markets.
$PERCS markets are temporarily showing as paused while the RPC catches up with the latest TWAP price updates.
this is a temporary sync issue with the price oracle, pushing a fix now.

Hey @toly, we forked your Percolator risk engine and built https://t.co/ZfFnNLKTe3.
now anyone can go long or short on any memecoin.
Percolator handles the risk, margin, liquidations, and settlement.
every market operates with its own isolated SOL liquidity vault and insurance fund, with dynamically adjusted exposure limits based on available collateral, time-weighted pricing, and deterministic liquidation mechanisms.

Hey, percolator update. It’s basically feature complete. What is it though?
It’s a small Open Source formally verified library for managing risk that devs can use to build their own markets. It’s designed to let users bring their own matching programs to provide offers. I think all the innovation is actually in this piece, and all the pain is in making sure the risk engine is safe.
percolator - Risk engine library. This is the nuts and bolts of managing risk on chain.
percolator-prog - Main Percolator solana program. This wraps the risk engine and implements a bunch of different ways that the risk engine can be used for different markets.
percolator-match a demo matching program. You can do way better than this.
percolator-cli - the typescript wrapper for everything. Point your clawd at it to start.
Use it to experiment, it’s HAS NOT been audited by humans. If you find an attack vector submit a PR.
What I’ve found cool is that I can point clawd at percolator-prog and ask it to build a new market using the engine that does XYZ, and it will one shot it and basically get it right from what I can tell. (DO NOT TRUST, VERIFY)

anyone can create a market for a memecoin with at least $5,000 in liquidity, for just 0.05 SOL plus ~0.01 SOL in rent fees.
every market has its own isolated SOL vault, which is funded through $PERCS creator fees, market creation fees, and direct deposits.
trading opens automatically once the vault reaches 1 SOL, allowing anyone to go long or short with up to 3x leverage.
