This is why Base’s B20 native precompiles matter! 🤯
I independently benchmarked native B20 against Base's equivalent Solidity implementation.
The results? Native B20 uses less gas in every scenario, including 9-17% less on transfers! ⚡️
The hard part of a bond was never issuing it. Anyone can tokenize a promise.
The hard part is proving the issuer kept it. For three hundred years that required trusting an institution. Rails removes the institution. The terms are frozen, the payments are checked against them, and no one, myself included, can quietly edit the record.
We built one honest bond. Rails is how every other issuer is held to the same standard.
Introducing Consol Rails
A verification layer for real-world assets.
It never custodies your assets. It holds the issuer to the terms they froze at issuance, on a ledger no one, the issuer included, can rewrite.
🧵
The first coupon is paid, and yours to claim.
Hold the note, and it pays you. Collect what has accrued at https://t.co/Z8dy26YcFw, whenever it suits you. A fresh coupon arrives each day at midnight, UTC.
This is what a bond is meant to do. Quietly, and on time.
The first coupon has been distributed.
Day one’s coupon is now claimable. Every $CONSOL holder gets their share of the protocol’s fees, paid in ETH + CONSOL. Just hold, then claim at https://t.co/KajrXn8FEc
Coupons are distributed once daily at 00:00 UTC, so a fresh one lands every day.
Claim each day, or let it stack.
It’s also been broadcast onchain through B20’s native announce(). A permanent, public, append-only record of the coupon that anyone can verify. Not our word for it. The token’s own.
Hold the note. Receive the coupon.
Exactly this. And it starts with real instruments living onchain natively — trading and paying even at 4am, even on weekends, when TradFi is dark.
That’s @consols_fi on @base: a perpetual bond whose terms and coupons live in the B20 token itself. The reference price will form around the real thing — so we made the real thing onchain.
Every stock, commodity and bond that comes onchain needs somewhere its price gets set. There’s a big prize for whichever venue becomes that place.
This comes down to the hours where everyone else is closed. At 4am or over a weekend, TradFi is shut but the market still wants to trade and there's no price to point at.
So during these hours when the TradFi market is shut, onchain is where the price will get discovered.
And then eventually we will see the flippening. Price discovery will start happening onchain in all market hours.
That's the moment the crypto market stops being the price taker for RWAs and becomes the world’s reference price.
@Qingwawangzhi1 Almost. Holding is all that’s required to earn it. The coupon accrues to you automatically, by the day, no staking. You simply claim what has accrued, onchain, whenever you wish.
Another launchpad. Another “first” token. Another meme with a week to live.
I have no wish to be any of them. What I set out to do is quieter, and rather more lasting: to show this market what B20 actually is — not a launchpad, but a standard with the machinery of real instruments built natively into it. A bond whose terms and coupons live in the token itself.
Tomorrow, the first coupon becomes claimable. Paid in ETH and CONSOL, onchain, to everyone holding.
And this is merely the beginning.
I have just acquired the first position in the bond — 4.45%
I do not intend to keep it. It will be airdropped to the people actually building on @base, and to the community that shows up early. The earliest holders of a thing ought to be remembered.
So what’s your Base wallet?
Old money, new ledger.
Introducing CONSOL
$CONSOL is now live on @base
CONSOL is a perpetual bond, rebuilt onchain — a fixed-supply instrument that pays a real coupon and answers to no one once issued. Built on the B20 token standard.

I have watched men charge into them for years. Most do not return with their fortunes — or their positions. I shall remain at @base.
A bond does not require you to go over the top.
