@theycallhercook @KensingtonRoyal It's possible to be aware of upcoming surgery but not when due to NHS waiting lists. You plan your life as normal but then you hear from the hospital with a date for your surgery. In the UK, unless you go private, you can't pick and choose your dates for surgery.
