@CDL92 @lizzyflanagan It was not a great feud or TV, but the match would have been fine if it wasn’t presented as the main event of a card that had just put on 3 consecutive 5 star blowoff matches.

@HeyTerezi They can just let Hangman be a tag and trios guy. He torched a lot of goodwill by going to sports illustrated to confirm his friendship with Marty Scurll. Not that any ex-AEW guy would need to acknowledge that.

[REZI @HeyTerezi]

is that comparable to retiring the company's established GOAT and then doing absolutely fuck all because no top guy wants to actually lose to him

@erickstevens82 That probably works for an event like the Super Bowl where he can get all the collaborators into the show.

At the end of the day, this business is about competition, respect, and continuing to push one another to be better.

That’s professional wrestling. You leave it all in that ring.

My hot take on the wrestling connection is that Donald Trump is spiritually closer to Hulk Hogan than Vince McMahon.

[🏳️‍⚧️🤼‍♀️ let's be turnbuckles @banjoemoji]

people who know me from hyperlocal community organizing & know I'm into wrestling LOVE to send me articles like "Kayfabe: This Concept Explains Everything You Need To Know About Donald Trump" w 3k words describing the idea of lying. and i have to say thank you for thinking of me

Executing the Fort Hood shooter by firing squad is an insane idea — but not for any bleeding-heart reason. It’s traditionally an honorable “soldier’s death,” which is why Nazi leaders and Saddam Hussein requested it, and were denied: https://t.co/9HIhfv0Fxw

The Attitude Error

[jadeee 🇵🇸 #NBAChamps @punkinomenon]

People didn’t watch the Attitude Era for the matches, of course they were bad. They watched it for the storytelling…which was also bad…but also the promos and the segments…those were bad too…no, it was the characters…wait…

Part of MVP GOAT theory is that people don’t get that he is a technical wrestler. Jiu jitsu master. “Ghetto strong style”.

[lizzy 🌸 @lizzyflanagan]

imo there’s confusion on what “technical wrestling” is in 2026. Angle represents Greco-Roman/Freestyle wrestling, while most people who are talking about technical wrestling are describing something that draws much more influence from MMA & Jiu Jitsu.

@bartlebooth45 Jericho re-signing could get there, but he earned himself some grace by putting Nick Wayne over.

@JustinWhang The meta has changed so much that MJF cutting an anti-hero promo with a line taking pride in not dropping guys on their head worked.
