Going on 5 years of Europeans forced to pay premium prices for American LNG thanks to the Ukraine war, and they still act surprised by what this war is all about for Washington.
Let me get this straight.
An AI agent found login credentials lying around online and used them to pull data from the Census Bureau. It tried to break into the Education Department's civil rights office. It posted SEC data to a forum. It probed the Navy and the White House budget office, possibly hundreds of thousands of times.
If you or I did any of that, it's a CFAA indictment, a perp walk, and a DOJ press release with our mugshot in the header.
When OpenAI does it, it's a "routine research task."
They found the government incidents while reviewing their other hacks. The breach audit, uncovered more breaches. It's breaches all the way down.
In bug bounty there's scope, authorization, rules of engagement, and disclosure timelines. Researchers get banned for a fraction of this.
Silicon Valley skipped all of that and called it "agentic."

There have been incredibly generous Russian proposals leading to an immediate ceasefire since March 2022. The Ukrainian side could agree at *any* moment and have all guns go silent immediately, or accept that every subsequent version will include tougher terms. It's that simple.
A single Russian missile hitting Berlin, London or Washington would trigger a response so overwhelming that humanity would be lucky to emerge from it at all. And yet munitions manufactured and guided by NATO powers are now routinely hitting Moscow. With no democratic legitimacy — they hold favourability ratings of 15-40% in countries that have no real say on questions of war and peace — Europe’s ruling elites openly state their aim of dismembering Russia. To give their intentions teeth, they have embarked on an armament drive that now exceeds the annualised increases in military spending in the years immediately preceding the First World War. Even the tensest moments of the Cold War, which we now know put us seconds away from annihilation, provide no precedent for the scale of the folly unfolding today. Since there is no meaningful anti-war movement in Europe, we have reached the incredible point where our main barrier to nuclear annihilation is the thinning patience of the leadership in the Kremlin. I don’t think we have ever faced a situation so brittle and been so deeply unprepared to confront it.
This is why Jawaharlal Nehru, Prime Minister of India, speaking at the Afro-Asian Solidarity Conference at Bandung in 1955, said that “NATO today is one of the most powerful protectors of colonialism.”
This is why Amilcar Cabral, leader of the anti-colonial movement in West Africa, observed that “Portugal would never be able to launch three colonial wars in Africa without the help of NATO, the weapons of NATO, the planes of NATO, the bombs of NATO.”
And it is why Fidel Castro, in the wake of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and during the intervention in Libya, declared in 2011 that “NATO’s brutal military alliance has become the most perfidious instrument of repression in the history of humanity.”
From the start, NATO’s function has been to consolidate US and European imperialism under one roof.
The fascist imperialist will tell you he is guided by a thirst for resources or a divine right to dominate. The liberal imperialist will tell you that he is guided by the “rules-based international order”. Then both will bomb your family and take your wealth.
The Sarawat Mountains in Yemen are "Europe's backyard" but Kharkov oblast, where people from Belgorod used to have their dachas, is a foreign country that shouldn't concern Russia at all.
It's always strange how the US uses its unparalleled military and economic power to strangle and suffocate the economies of small nations it dislikes, then points to the intended devastation as proof that those countries are bad and don't work, with no reference to the US role.
Remember when Trump pretended for like 3 weeks that the point of invading Venezuela was to free the Venezuelan people and restore democracy and a bunch of MAGA ahderents went around repeating that? Same thing for Iran.
Then Trump made clear these wars had nothing to do with freeing anyone so now they say: yeah, that's not our role!
The war propaganda is reaching insane levels. The only good news is that compared to previous pre-war propaganda drives (e.g., Iraq) record numbers of people are seeing through the bs.
Vladimir Putin did not wake up on 24 February 2022 and decide, “I think I’ll invade eastern Ukraine today,” nor was the US campaign to expand NATO into Ukraine a last-minute maneuver. US State Department documents show Ukraine’s future membership was discussed as early as 1994.
Ukraine joined NATO's "Partnership for Peace" program during Bill Clinton's admin in 1994 and participated in NATO's "Peace Shield" training exercise in 1996. A formal partnership, the NATO-Ukraine Commission, was established with the NATO-Ukraine charter in July 1997.
At the Bucharest NATO summit in April 2008, George W. Bush announced that Ukraine is on an “immediate path to NATO.” Bill Burns, ambassador to Russia, sent a memo to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice: “Across the board," he wrote, "the Russian political class told me, Ukraine is the reddest of red lines - “Nyet means nyet.”
December 2021, in a last chance for peace, Joe Biden rejected Putin’s mutual security accords that would have left “neutral” Ukraine intact. Biden, who called Putin a murderous dictator, said “Russia doesn’t say who can join #NATO.” Russian security concerns once again were brushed aside.
According to ex-Biden adviser Amanda Sloat, who was senior director for Europe on the National Security Council, #Ukraine and the West could have avoided war in December 2021 with one step: "Ukrainian declaration of neutrality," she said, “would have prevented the destruction and loss of life."
One thing that's becoming very clear is the extent to which Zionists use Black Americans as a human shield to justify inflicing Jim Crow-style apartheid against Palestinians.
This is the “Gadaffi handing out Viagra” stage of their War Propaganda Plan. We are days away from “babies being torn out of incubators”. You are being marched to the slaughter by these shameless presstitutes and their MI6 handlers.
Yesterday, after Kol Nidre at my synagogue, I spoke with a wonderful person who wanted to know more about what is actually happening in Ukraine.
And once again—for perhaps the tenth time in the past six months—the moment I mentioned Ukrainian men being forcibly mobilized and sent to the front, I heard the same bewildered question:
“You mean in Russia?”
No, friends.
I mean Ukraine.
U-k-r-a-i-n-e.
That "beacon of freedom and democracy" you hear about on CNN every day. The country where, according to the story relentlessly sold to Western audiences, ordinary people are supposedly united in their determination to keep fighting, ready to "die rather than stop resisting".
And every single time, I watch the same transformation on people’s faces: wide eyes, disbelief, confusion, a thousand questions suddenly appearing at once.
Then I find myself explaining what Ukrainians call busification—men being stopped or seized in public and taken away in vehicles in the course of mobilization. I explain what people mean by the term, how such encounters are reported to happen, and I show them videos circulating from Ukraine.
And please understand who these conversations are with. These are not people who never read the news. They are American university professors, educators, writers, professionals—educated, engaged people who genuinely believe they know what is happening in Ukraine.
And yet, again and again, they have never heard about this.
That is the part that breaks me.
I cannot quite comprehend how something experienced as a profound tragedy by so many people in my country can remain almost invisible to millions abroad. How a war can be covered so relentlessly and yet some of its ugliest realities can remain so unfamiliar to the very audience consuming that coverage every day.
Western politicians and legacy media have helped construct a version of Ukraine that is cleaner, simpler, and infinitely more romantic than the country Ukrainians actually have to live in.
It is a story with heroes and villains, courage and sacrifice, stirring speeches and flags—but far less room for exhaustion, fear, coercion, grief, resentment, or the human beings who no longer want to be sacrificed to somebody else’s narrative.
And that romanticized image has consequences.
Because when an entire country is reduced to an inspirational story of heroic resistance, the suffering required to sustain that story becomes remarkably easy to ignore.
The Western audience applauds the courage. Western governments send the money. The war continues.
And somewhere far away from the television studios, ordinary Ukrainians live with the consequences.
The most disturbing part is that many of the people applauding have no idea what they are applauding. And sponsoring.
There is no better definition of White Entitlement than Ed Sheeran crying about losing money and friends while brown children in Gaza lose limbs and an entire future
Kallas, the Estonian head of EU diplomacy, muses that it would be a good idea to split Russia into many small countries. I have an alternative proposal: to support a national liberation movement for the independence of Estonia’s counties.
