@patchstackapp@darius_fx Please, don't say you're not able to find a way to contact me… You're ridiculous trying to tell me that it's MY fault that YOU didn't follow the rules.
Hey, @patchstackapp , I've just learned that you've had one of my plugins closed on the https://t.co/OrpK6iEKS4 repo… You've discovered a vulnerability and rather than apply the ethics you claim to have and the recommendations I wrote in my Security Policies, […]
@darius_fx@patchstackapp Note the term "suspend" (and in case you missed it, the situation has slightly evolved in the last 48 hours).
Please, don't try to divert the attention about the fact that you've done absolutely nothing to contact me and/or respect the Security Policy I clearly display.
@patchstackapp Oh, stop taking me for a moron. Of course I did. And they have no idea why you didn't try to get in touch with me!
Your attitude, and your justifications, are shameful. There's no excuse for reporting first at https://t.co/uKyqI49SBw and not contacting me…
And yes, for those who are wondering: I have a security policy (responsible disclosure based), a point of contact very clearly displayed in a file that is a de facto standard AND, above all, for other vulnerabilities discovered, @patchstackapp has always been able to contact me!

#WordPress
I wrote about leaving WP plugin repository 10 years ago and it's uncanny how well we'd already understood what a monopolistic and privacy-hostile design it is, but people pushing for change were always framed as dramatic weirdos, because WP would never 🙃 https://t.co/Usvs62ssRH
Due to the latest developments regarding the https://t.co/xSBnIV5zAj authentication requirements and @photomatt's inability to explain its legal implications, we have taken the difficult decision to suspend updates to our plugins, as well as their support via the org website.
It's a difficult time for the open source world in general, and for authors of free WordPress plugins in particular.
Of course, this is also a difficult time for all those who use our plugins.
But we can't take a risk we can't measure by logging on to https://t.co/xSBnIV5zAj
