A bit of throwback trivia... In 2009, both Webb Simpson and Gary Woodland were PGA Tour rookies... First tournament of the year was the SONY Open in Hawaii... Webb and Gary were paired together the first two rounds...

I had the good fortune of attending and watching these two young men begin their careers... As fate would have it - 3 1/2 years later, Webb would go on to win the 2012 US Open at The Olympic Club...
