It’s not right, I’m not justifying it, but it does seem like a natural consequence of the forced disturbance.

And when it ends up being slop, sure that’s bad for the minorities, but it’s more bad for the artists.

It doesn’t cause some biased top-down prejudice, it is basic associative logic

People HAVE become more oppositional to minorities not because they blame minorities for the writing being bad, but because they blame the writers for caring so much about minority representation over good form
