@WuWei113 I got the videos from my friend. Here’s what actually happened and how it all started. She was sitting on that spot and her purse was on the seat on her side at first so he couldn’t sit there and she also rested her feet on the seat in front of her. He said excuse me and sat down
@10pillar@RepRashida Much of the working class right doesn't want to fund rich man wars, they'll sprinkle in their antisemitic sentiments but they're right for not wanting these wars. Donald Trump will easily become unpopular - as if he isn't already losing popularity on the right for his Tariffs
@10pillar@RepRashida Allies...so protecting oligarch interest over the already and desperate working class populace who wouldn't be able to survive a recession? The majority of Americans aren't going to cope with that😭. From the right to the left, we believe America should help Americans first
@BreannaConlon @Pinko69420 Democrats are at partial fault as to why many of my uncodified rights have been eroded, why my immigrant friends are suffering, fuck them and you too
@Yahttaaa@independentgel@azealiaslacewig And also understand what African Americans mean by "mixed down the lineage." It goes back to slavery and involuntary race mixing. Lawnside, NJ, being a historic Black town doesn’t contradict that. Being a separate Black community doesn’t erase what happened during slavery
@Yahttaaa@independentgel@azealiaslacewig Language doesn't determine racial ancestry, especially not in the African American community. I do not know where you got that from. It's extremely racist
@Yahttaaa@independentgel@azealiaslacewig You understand African Americans can still be mixed down the lineage and speak AAVE?!! That's a horrible argument. If you are talking about Creole Black Americans (since many don't go by AA), they are extremely mixed down the lineage as is their culture. Stop making stuff up
@_SecondThought Yo JT, did you give Perfect Union permission to use your Video on Elon Musk? They didn't credit you in the caption and I know folks wanted to find the full video
@Yahttaaa@independentgel@azealiaslacewig The majority of Jamaicans don't have 98% sub-Saharan African ancestry. Studies show it's around 80-90% West African, with the rest being European, South Asian, and Indigenous ancestry. Multiple sources confirm these percentages over time.
@Jay_Goren@I_M_SpoilleR@Fx1Jonny His post deeply resonates with those fed up with dog whistle politics being used globally to justify such atrocities. Ongoing crimes by Israel persist despite the majority wanting them to stop; even global leaders and the Pope are weary, with some moved to tears
Free Palestine!!!
@Jay_Goren@I_M_SpoilleR@Fx1Jonny People don't need to be experts to see how disproportionate the death toll is. People don't need to be experts to know that Oct 7th didn't come out of a vacuum. People don't need to be experts to draw parallels between the plight of Palestinians and other oppressed groups of ppl.
@independentgel@azealiaslacewig Haitians and many of the Black majority nations that are in the Caribbean don't have this issue, I do believe there is a correlation there, as to why African traditions are more overt in their cultures and less with African Americans who live in a white majority country.
@independentgel@azealiaslacewig My grandma often talks about the difference between how it is here in the U.S. and how it is in Jamaica. One of the major factors that too many overlook is how AAs are a minority in a nation that they can ever fully claim as their own. Jamaicans do not have this issue
@independentgel@azealiaslacewig Again, as someone who is mixed with Black Jamaican and African American, I'm proud of both cultures and people. They both have overcome so much. Yet I know it's not easy for my AA side because they don't live in a majority Black nation, yet Jamaicans actually have that privilege
@independentgel@azealiaslacewig African Americans aren't denying their African ancestry. I find it distasteful for you to compare Jamaican culture and African American culture as a way to drag down African Americans while disregarding historical legacies that shape both their cultures in different ways
