Lawnside, NJ, being a historic Black town doesn’t contradict that. Being a separate Black community doesn’t erase what happened during slavery

People don't need to be experts to draw parallels between the plight of Palestinians and other oppressed groups of ppl.

@independentgel @azealiaslacewig Haitians and many of the Black majority nations that are in the Caribbean don't have this issue, I do believe there is a correlation there, as to why African traditions are more overt in their cultures and less with African Americans who live in a white majority country.

One of the major factors that too many overlook is how AAs are a minority in a nation that they can ever fully claim as their own. Jamaicans do not have this issue

Yet I know it's not easy for my AA side because they don't live in a majority Black nation, yet Jamaicans actually have that privilege

I find it distasteful for you to compare Jamaican culture and African American culture as a way to drag down African Americans while disregarding historical legacies that shape both their cultures in different ways
