@TedPetrou What was your choice in displaying only the mean historical values and not the standard deviation? The number of seasonal deaths for NZ is so low (and only 26 Covid deaths during entire pandemic) that it will only take +/- a few deaths each month to track above or below mean.

@abe1x I think that sounds right. I wish I had more time to dig in and investigate. I did take a quick look at NYC DOH repo and latest update looks like it’s updating historic records for up to 90 days ago which is unusual (over summer I’d keep an eye and ~20 days was typical)
