@TrollinNYC@Crisb2708 You can land in most parts of the world and order an Uber today. No other competitor has anywhere close to global network effects at this stage.
@TrollinNYC@Crisb2708 You could say the same about Myspace and Facebook. Except Facebook has just acquired competitors like WhatsApp, and instagram. Kind of like you say Uber is doing.
Uber's network effects are so strong Uber is an everyday verb.
@1000xStocks Do you think Duolingo will be around and making the same amount of money in 13 years?
Unless you can say yes the stock is still overvalued.
@cryptobasenji@PolymarketTrade The new Colombian president doesn't take office until August... Why would Petro be out of office over a month before the next president starts?
Do you guys think the day after an election the next president is in power?
@AlanDaitch This is a dumb take. Modern AIs are smart enough to assess intent and typical pathways.
This stupid idea assumes an AI is so dumb to think infamy and fame are identical. This content is for people who have only ever used chat got 3
@haraldgst @LibTearstoken @0xSweep That is exactly what these exchanges do. That is the point. The question is why aren't they in million dollar class action lawsuits?
@BowTiedColombia Toyotas come at an outrageously huge premium here. If you want a Toyota you are best off buying new in Colombia.
Or you can buy a Renault like everyone else..
@hispanicnomad I do agree with the overall sentiment though. I have known middle class latinos that have maids clean their houses once a week for like $20.
@hispanicnomad The numbers here are a bit exaggerated. A middle class Colombian is probably closer to the $700 to $800 range. E.g I know an orthodontist that makes about 2.8 million COP per month ($750) USD. $1600 is double the salary of what would be considered middle class here.
@JohnnyTrading20 Looks more like they got rewarded like 5500 shares through some stock programs and immediately sold 3000 to cover taxes. Actually the exact opposite unfortunately
