@DReaMLabJMU Definitely I think this could be interesting. Emoji use and meaning seems to evolve rapidly. Today's smiley/laughing face might mean something different in a few months, at least to different populations.

@DReaMLabJMU Cool research! I've heard in some media reports that "older" people tend to use more laughing/smiley face emojis to express happy emotions, whereas younger people are more likely to use "ironic" emojis in the same situations, e.g. a skeleton head. Did this impact your study?
