#雫石町の熊の殺処分の仕方が溺死だった件
今後は、溺死させないよう、岩手県の方で指導されたそうです‼️

連休前に仲間からの情報で駆除の仕方が溺死はだったと聞いて、、ショックで苦しかったろうにと。連休明けの昨日今日、私も自分の耳で確認すべく電話してますが、雫石町の担当と繋がらず。

本日午前中、岩手県の鳥獣担当に電話し繋がりました。
まず、溺死が事実か伺った所、県として確認し事実だという事です。溺死させるとは、ドラム缶式罠の中に水を注入して熊を窒息させるやり方ではなく、水没させるやり方。海とか川ではなく、内陸の構造物(プールのような)に沈められたそうです。
それは残酷なやり方ではないか？というと、県としても、国の方針で、【できる限り苦痛を与えない方法】を取ることとなっており、県としてもその方針に則るよう、周知していた。
雫石町のような【残虐性の高いやり方】については、改めるよう指導したとの事でした。

つまり、岩手県の見解としては、溺死は【残虐な殺処分にあたる】との認識を明確に示されました。
通常は、電気ショックや射殺という方法を取るが、溺死はそれに比べて残虐性が高い。ただ、ハンターの安全性の確保のため、現場の判断に任せている部分もあるとの事。
各自治体の個々のやり方を全て把握はできていなかったとのことで、今後は、殺処分のやり方について、外が見えないよう捕獲罠にシーツを被せて落ち着かせるとか、麻酔をうってからの射殺とか、できるだけ苦痛を与えない方法を選択するよう周知して欲しい旨、要望しました。

殺処分のやり方で電気ショックという方法があることを知り、電気ショックを与えてから致命傷を与えるのか？伺った所、電気ショックだけで短時間で死に至るそうです。死刑執行のやり方の一つにあったなと思いながら話をしました。
くれぐれも今回の事が繰り返されないよう、雫石町への指導をお願いしました。

また、以前は、岩手県は放獣も結構されていて素晴らしいと思っていたのに、国の方針に合わせて捕殺一辺倒になってしまった印象がある旨伝えたところ、
市街地に繰り返し出てきたり、逃がすのが困難な場所かどうかなど検討し、放獣の選択肢も考慮には入れてはいるようでした。
(秋田県などとは違って)

I never get used to seeing these posts. Every time I see another dog running out of time, it breaks my heart. But sharing them is the least I can do because these dogs have no one else to fight for them.

This is Chico. He is only 2 years old. Just look at that sweet face. He should be spending his days playing, getting belly rubs, and being loved by a family. Instead, his future is uncertain, and he urgently needs someone to step up for him.

Chico is not just a picture on your screen. He is a living, breathing dog with feelings. He wants safety, comfort, and a place to call home. He deserves the chance to grow old surrounded by people who love him. At only 2 years old, he has so much life left to live.
