🚨💣 EXCLUSIVE: Liverpool open talks to sign Ismaila Sarr as new winger! 🔴🇸🇳
Move follows Minteh deal called off due to Brighton requests.
#LFC sent a proposal worth around £50m for Senegal winger who’s keen on move.
Crystal Palace already rejected two bids from Galatasaray.
Måske meget heldigt at man ikke ender med at betale £80m for en spiller, der først er klar i november.
Men netop den seneste uges jagt på gambianeren opsummerer helt perfekt Liverpools transfervindue: Et shitshow. #lfcdk
🚨🔴 Liverpool submit £60m proposal for Yankuba Minteh after personal terms agreed with Gambian winger.
Negotiations underway with Brighton as #LFC are optimistic to sign Minteh.
Not an alternative but in addition to Bradley Barcola, who remains the top target. 1️⃣
🟥 Hughes Has Lost the Plot - He Should Be On Gardening Leave
Richard Hughes has reached desperation stakes.
I’ve got no issue with Yankuba Minteh as a player. He’s talented, quick, direct and, as a squad option, there is plenty to like. But nine goals and eight assists in 66 Premier League appearances is hardly a record that should have Liverpool losing their heads.
And now he’s injured. Surgery, another eight weeks out, Liverpool apparently bidding £50m anyway.
What on earth are we doing?
If Minteh was genuinely the man, why was this not dealt with in June? Why wait all summer? Why wait until the lad is unavailable? Why make an offer Brighton were always likely to reject?
I would love to believe this is some clever attempt to flush PSG out over Bradley Barcola or Ibrahim Mbaye. I really would. I simply do not have enough faith in Hughes to believe there is that level of cunning behind it.
This reeks of a plan collapsing and somebody scrambling for the next name on the list.
Hughes should be on gardening leave, waiting for his first Saudi pay cheque, nowhere near decisions that could shape Liverpool for years.
FSG allowing an outgoing sporting director to preside over a window this important is gross negligence.
And perhaps one day, amid all the breathless updates about bids, shortlists and “interest”, a few more people with the loudest platforms might ask who is actually responsible for this mess.
Liverpool have the money. They have a new manager who needs backing. They have known their weaknesses for months.
There are no excuses left.
It’s crazy how PSG, back to back European champions had to have TWO replacements in the door before entertaining a possible transfer for Barcola and now want another.
Meanwhile we let Jones leave without even being linked to a replacement 🤨
Central midfield options now that Jones is off
Ryan Gravenberch
Alexis Mac Allister
Dominik Szoboszlai
Trey Nyoni
James McConnell
Endo
Nowhere near good enough, an injury to Szobo and we lose any remote level of running power centrally too.
Personally, I think it’s about time Liverpool start doing something to back their new head coach for the season that’s starts in 4 days. That might just be me though
[🟢] NEW: The conversations will continue in these days. I don’t expect a breakthrough today and tomorrow, it doesn’t look likely but from next week Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain will be in contact.

PSG are fed up with Liverpool's refusal to pay their €160m to €170m asking price for Bradley Barcola claims a new report in Le Parisien. Do you think the Reds will get this one over the line?
@RatherbeRed6@CounterPressers My bad, I forgot PSG play in the premier league. Its clear as day what LFC lacked last season, not fixing that is an issue.
Andoni Iraola's assistant Tommy Elphick joined in training sessions during Liverpool's pre-season tour of the United States to make up the numbers amid a severe shortage of centre-backs

PSG and Liverpool have entered official talks over Bradley Barcola (23), as per @FabrizioRomano. An opening bid in excess of €100m has already been rejected by the French club’s management. ⬇️
