The idea of “work-life” #balance is absurd.
Built on a dichotomy that divides the person into two “halves”, it seems to neatly organize the parts into separate categories. It measures them, weighs them, and carefully puts them on each side of a scale.

Any form of balance is temporary.
We live less in a constant state of static balance and more in a dynamic sequence of imbalances.
The quest to have everything in place, at all times, motionless in a captured ideal state can quickly turn into a toxic one.
