@RealJohnGlover@MarkHamill I wonder why I am not on this list? I am actually still alive and well! And the original voice of Poison Ivy. Is there anyone who can help me get in touch with someone who can change the list? (Diane Pershing)
@MarkHamill So many of us from the original cast are gone now. They were dear, talented people and we are saddened. After I attended Arleen's memorial two weeks ago, and had a lovely chat with Paul Dini, I felt huge gratitude for the show, those who are gone and those who carry on.
@worldsfinest Hi, James Harvey. Greetings from Diane Pershing, the original voice of Poison Ivy on the original Batman the Animated Series. Beautiful work and bravo!!!!
@Paul_Dini Paul, it was good to see you at Arleen's memorial. I am still so sad to have lost such a shining light and such a good friend (thanks for serendipitously bringing us together in a studio!) Be well and be safe.
Diane Pershing
@MarkHamill@Paul_Dini More and more I remember the days of recording the show. YOur mic was next to mine, on my right, Efrem's on my left. Sheer joy to be between two amazing talents. Sending love.
Diane Pershing (Poison Ivy)
@TheAnimatedBat RIP, Arleen, from Diane Pershing (Poison Ivy). I miss you, recording with you all those years ago, and as my dear friend for life up until the end. Time marches on, Kevin, Arleen, and several other cast members are gone, but the series lives on, beloved by so many. Thank you.
@Variety@Paul_Dini Paul: I cannot thank you enough for posting this. It blew me away, it made my heart hurt (again) and it made her come alive (again) as though she was in the room with me. We had so many hours together during her illness when I would visit her, chat, read to her. God I miss her!
@DanaDelany@Paul_Dini@people I too counted her as a close friend and the world is less bright now. I was Poison Ivy to her Harley Quinn for most of the 1990's and visited her often in the past ten years or so. She had so many loving friends.
