Protests Erupt in Iran Over Abduction of Bita Shafiei and Her Mother

It has been over two weeks since Bita Shafiei and her mother were abducted by Iranian authorities, with their whereabouts and conditions still unknown.
Protesters in Junaqan, Bita’s hometown, gathered to demand their immediate release, chanting:
"They are our sisters, we are not going to relent, every citizen has a right to criticize the state."

The situation and whereabouts of Iranian teenage student and Gen Z monarchist activist Bita Shafiei remain unknown after she was kidnapped on November 13th by the IRGC terrorists of the Islamist regime in Iran.

People in the city of Junaqan in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province, where her family are originally from, have issued an ultimatum to the regime, demanding her immediate release. The locals have vowed to take to the streets in mass protests and if the regime refuses to release her.

Shafiei rose to national prominence after speaking out against the regime’s attacks on schoolgirls and publicly declaring her support for Iranian Crown Prince @PahlaviReza.

She was previously detained and tortured in 2023.
