My friend Ben Davidson isn't warning about some way off space age scenario in the future.
He is warning about changes that are already happening.
Earth’s magnetic field has weakened. The magnetic poles are moving. The South Atlantic Anomaly is expanding. Solar storms have already damaged satellites, disrupted communications and pushed electrical systems toward failure.
Davidson believes these are not rare and isolated events...they are pieces of a much bigger cycle building toward a dangerous window between 2040 and 2060.
He is talking about Earth’s magnetic protection becoming weaker while the Sun remains capable of throwing enormous amounts of charged material directly at us.
We have built an entire civilization on satellites, GPS, banking networks, electrical grids, communications and computers...and all of it depends on a stable technological environment.
Take away the power for long enough and everything halts .. like completely!
People seem to pass by Davidson because scenario scares the bejesus out of them.
Its way way easier to call him a nutter than to admit that our civilization is fragile as hell and almost completely unprepared for a severe geomagnetic event.
He has spent years connecting the Sun, Earth’s magnetic field and the planet’s history of catastrophe while everyone else studies each piece separately. His exact mechanism is a little controversial, but the crazy danger he is pointing toward is very very real.
Laugh at him all you want...I'm not...but when the shield is weakening and the Sun is capable of shutting down the world we built, ignoring the warning is stupidity.
Follow him @SunWeatherMan
This is crazy
I don't think I've ever seen the National Weather Service warning system fail like this during a live event. Please spread the word to anyone in eastern Kentucky to seek shelter.
The sub contractors are small business owners. They feed their families by creating a neccessary service for Amazon and the customers. They are local. They know the neighborhoods and ppl. They contribute to the tax base.
You won't hurt Amazon. Just the small business that act as support system.
Not going to pretend like I eat ramen noodles but I do my own shopping and all of the booji ice cream is unreal expensive and also I pump my own gas. Conservative inc podcasters have drivers. They don’t have any idea what gas costs let alone diesel, which our country runs on.
The state of science is one that makes gruelingly slow progress at the expense of breadth and interdisciplinary study. I have beat this drum for 15 years, and it is the call that was heard by the professors and NASA scientists who work with us.
Even describing the problem is challenging, even while most of you know there are problems with peer review and new ideas… 1/3
The problem isn’t that our Constitution is lacking; the problem is that the people chosen to uphold it are lacking.
These are desperate times, but a Convention to modify the Constitution is a desperate measure that absolves those responsible for our decline.
THE VENEZUELAN GOVERNMENT IS LYING LIKE CRAZY
they still hold the death toll at under 1500 from the earthquakes, with
TENS OF THOUSANDS MISSING
No. It’s not the fucking jungle or Antarctica… they are under the rubble and they are dead.
This is the worst catastrophe in years.
“Under God” was added to the Pledge of Allegiance in 1954, not invented in 1954.
The exact wording was actually inspired by Lincoln:
“that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom” - Lincoln, Gettysburg Address
The concept dates back to 1776:
“the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God” - Declaration of Independence
The constitution itself is even dated:
“in the Year of our Lord 1787”
If you’re going to play the history card at least google it first. Im all for freedom of religion, but pretending the USA was founded by a bunch of atheists and agnostics is just silly.
This is correct. I attended the Supreme Court arguments. Trump DOJ argued alongside Bayer/Monsanto that because the EPA had already blessed glyphosate, no state government could require labels disclosing cancer risk. The EPA & DOJ in this instance was only there to protect Bayer.
Donald Trump, in 2016, questioned every piety and broke every rule (he questioned NATO's worth and even mocked John McCain's POW status), leading the political and media class to repeatedly pronounce his candidacy dead. But he won: because they never grasped how much people hate their elite class and therefore also hate their pieties and rules.
That anti-establishment hatred isn't the exclusive property of of Trump. In fact, Trump has utterly squandered it: there's basically no economic populism or foreign policy heterodoxy in Trump's second term, which has created a huge opening for the left to seize that mantle.
I get that if you're ensconced in DC think tank conferences or Morning Joe studios, it's Gospel that Claire Valdez's views on unions and health care and Israel are politically fatal nationwide. They're not: no more than Trump's "transgressions" were. The most potent political force by far -- not just in US politics but in the democratic world -- is hatred of establishment politics, and that has rendered almost all of the old rules entirely obsolete.
DC Democratic politicians can't embrace this kind of anti-establishment populism -- by far their most potent weapon -- because they're enslaved to a donor class that won't allow it. But their own voters are forcing it on them. Zohran's win by itself should have demonstrated all of this, but for those who didn't see it then or didn't want to, it should be extremely clear now.
Correct. And when Pfizer data showed that natural immunity from a prior infection was as good or better than the shot, CDC and FDA covered that up too, so they could get more people to take the shot, exposing even more people to needless risk of serious side effects.
Today, on my final day as Director of National Intelligence, I’m releasing never-before-seen communications and documents exposing how Dr. Fauci provided millions in US taxpayer dollars to fund dangerous gain-of-function research at the Wuhan lab, worked with politicized elements within the Intelligence Community to suppress the truth about his actions and hide the virus’ lab-leak origins, and lied to Congress while under oath in 2024. It’s time you know the truth.

if @elonmusk paid 100% of his net worth ($1.4 trillion) as a tax it would only cover federal government spending for 77 days. this isn’t a tax problem…
Republicans are in charge because we promised:
to Make America Healthy Again.
to start No New Wars,
to put people above corporations,
to put America above foreign countries,
to release the Epstein files,
to not spy on citizens,
to eliminate fraud,
what the hell happened?!
Dems want to convince you Elon has a Trillion dollars in a giant tower and he swims in it like Scrooge McDuck.
His economic evaluation isn't liquid cash. It's the combined value of his multiple companies. Most of that value was created through Gov't subsidy and contracts granted by DEMOCRATS for Green Energy.
Democrats create millionaires, billionaires and the first trillionaire... they don't hate the rich, they birth them...
A reminder to the rest of the country on behalf of California: don't expect election results tonight.
Gavin Newsom wants Californians to believe that taking weeks to count votes is just the unavoidable consequence of being a big state.
Which is a strange excuse considering Texas has over 31 million residents—roughly 80% of California's population—and routinely knows who won on election night. California has only about 26% more people, yet often takes 1,000% to 2,000% (literally) longer to finish counting ballots. That's not a population problem. That's a competence problem.
Newsom governs a state that can't issue permits quickly, can't build infrastructure on schedule, can't control costs, can't solve homelessness despite spending billions, and apparently can't count votes in a timeframe the rest of the country considers normal.
California is the only place where government inefficiency is so deeply institutionalized that people are expected to applaud it.
So, in regards to Spencer Pratt and Karen Bass, California will be conducting an archaeological dig for ballots until further notice.
