Not chasing followers, but very happy if you do. Very fortunate to be living in the most remote state capital in the world , far from the madding crowd indeed.
@URDailyHistory That looks surprisingly similar to the Bayeux Tapestry depicting 1066 AD. If not, what is that tapestry please and where is it kept? Thank you.
@BBCWorld It is a terrible tragedy, but people who go out sailing yachts in extremely rough conditions are asking for problems and putting other peoples lives at risk as well as their own. Common sense should prevail, but it really does unfortunately, everybody thinks they are invincible.
@rorysutherland Or Ferrari F80 217mph driven by a 19 y.o with 2 years experience. = 2x 2=4 x 217 /100 = 8.6mph. Perfectly safe.
Canβt wait to buy a Ferrari now that Iβve been driving for 50 years
@rorysutherland How about this for an I dea. For safety purposes you should be allowed to drive according to a combination of your driving experience and your carβs capability. Simple calculation.
So double your 40 years driving experience x Hyundai Getz top speed 91 mph /100 =72.8mph (contd)
@PhysInHistory Perfect description of our knowledge of quantum physics, so glad you posted that because thatβs exactly how I feel. (Except in my case I misunderstand at a comparitively shallow level)
@bo66ie29 Good old Ford Anglia. Amazingly I can still remember the registration plate of my Dadβs Anglia from 1964 , βCβ reg. Canβt recall the colour though π€. His first company car, he was very proud, only new car in the street.
