Excited for Children and the Arts Festival tomorrow! PES Dance Club is ready to hit Grove Street and ”Make it Shine” at 10:45 and PES Kindergarten will “ let their light shine” in the parade at noon! Car is loaded with Hands-On supplies!
PES students enjoyed multicultural art experiences for Art Day! One PES family lived in Guatemala for five years and shared clothing, textiles and pictures with us. Then we made kites inspired by the giant ones they make for Day of the Dead celebrations. Thank you, Denise!
It is most rewarding when my students initiate learning experiences. After reading Rosie’s Walk by Pat Hutchins, they decided they wanted to create a story walk by illustrating the parts of the story and posting them on the trail by our school for others to read!
