From a social science standpoint, the open alignment of prominent journalists, think-tank analysts, and Syria-focused influencers with the narrative of the transitional administration in Damascus is not accidental. It is a political choice.

These are largely foreign actors who claim expertise on Syria, yet consistently position themselves alongside power. Their behaviour raises legitimate questions about interests, incentives, and the credibility of their claimed knowledge.

Many of them actively rationalise the repression of minorities. They fixate on the alleged failures of Druze, Alawite, and Kurdish actors while deliberately ignoring the structural violence of the current authority: its security architecture, coercive practices, and ideological roots.

This obsessive focus on minorities functions as an echo chamber designed to deflect attention from the real issue: the nature of the ruling power itself. This is not analysis. It is complicity.

By mobilising their academic, journalistic, and media platforms in service of a single narrative, these actors are not merely biased. They are producing distorted knowledge that legitimises authoritarian rule, destabilises an already exhausted country, and places minorities at heightened risk.

What we are witnessing is the emergence of a new, functional orientalism: expertise repurposed to facilitate regional domination.

Presenting a Salafi-radical authority as a model of coexistence, despite multiple massacres in a single year, is not scholarship. It is propaganda.

Interesting how the responsible party is omitted. The Zayzoun power plant was reportedly destroyed, and previously looted, by the Turkistan Islamic Party, an HTS ally. When this kind of omission becomes habitual, it's difficult to see it as anything other than historical revisionism, a pattern you've engaged in for years whenever the omitted facts are politically inconvenient.

توضّح «عفرين الآن» ما يلي بخصوص خبر وفاة المواطن لقمان كمال كوسا إثر نوبة قلبية حصلت معه على طريق حلب – عفرين في يوم عيد النوروز:

قامت «عفرين الآن» بإزالة الخبر السابق بناءً على طلب عائلة المرحوم، وذلك حفاظاً على خصوصية العائلة.

ونؤكد أن نشر الخبر جاء بعد الحصول على تسجيلات صوتية من مصادر محلية ومن أفراد من العائلة، وأن جميع المواد التي يتم نشرها تمر عبر سلسلة من خطوات التحقق والتأكد قبل نشرها.

كما نحتفظ بكافة الثبوتيات المتوفرة لدينا، مع الالتزام بعدم نشرها احتراماً لخصوصية العائلة.

كما أن لدى «عفرين الآن» جميع الثبوتيات والدلائل حول الاعتداءات التي حصلت ضد الأهالي الكورد في منطقة عفرين - Efrîn وعلى طريق حلب – عفرين وفي مدينة حلب، ونحن مستعدون لمشاركتها مع منظمات حقوق الإنسان ولجان التحقيق المستقلة.

معلم هادا الحزب الوسخ من وقت تأسيسه صوت ضد كل القرارات المتعلقة بحقوق الكورد، الأرمن والمسيحية في البرلمان الهولندي، أو بعبارة اخرى، صوت ضد كل القرارات اللي ماكانت لصالح تركيا. وحتى بفترة من الفترات اللي كانت الحكومة الهولندية عم تناقش مسألة الإباادة الأرمنية والاعتراف، أحد مؤسسي الحزب واللي هو توناهان كوزو، طلع ع التلفزيون التركي وأعطى أسماء نواب برلمان من أصول كوردية من تركيا اللي صوتو لصالح قانون الإبادة ووصفهم بأنهم هدول خونة ولازم يتم محاسبتهم.

حزب وسخ بيبكي من الصبح للمسا ع فلسطين وحقوق المسلمين، بس لما الشغلة بتصير حقوق كورد، أرمن، علوية، دروز أو مسيحية بتلاقيه أول واحد صوت ضد القرارات.

بالنهااية مابشوفها غريبة جماعة بني عو يلتفو حولين هيك حزب في هولندا لأنو هنن من نفس الطينة.
