I truly believe that to get anywhere in this life, we must learn to allow things be complicated. An oversimplified life is not worth living and it is important to be able to hold two truths or more at a time — To be hurt and be loved still, and to fear and to carry on despite.
I don land!!

I know the thought of going through your partner’s phone is scary but please search it every chance you get. People are building their relationships and future with others while we’re in the picture.
the worst part about getting attached is
knowing one dry reply can ruin your entire mood and make you question a connection that felt perfect yesterday.
I like affectionate people. The ones who randomly text you, invite you everywhere, call just because, and make it obvious they enjoy having you around. Honestly, flood my notifications. Send me the unnecessary updates. Leave hearts everywhere. I’d much rather feel wanted than constantly wonder whether I’m bothering someone who takes half a day to reply.
I have seen your comments and I have seen your concerns. But this is my story.
I do not expect you to understand or sympathize. That is not what I am looking for. What I want to do is raise awareness.
Initially, when this happened to me, I thought I was cursed or something lmao😂
I had been so quiet about it for so long that, to an extent, I think it was eating me up. For a long time, I felt like I was the only person experiencing something like this.
But ever since those two interviews, quite a number of young women and mothers have reached out to me with similar, if not the same, experiences. Some were confused and looking for answers and solutions, just like I was years ago. Some didn’t even know that what they were experiencing had a name until I spoke out, and are now beginning to ask questions and seek answers.
And this is weirdly comforting to me, as I’m sure it is for them too. I see them, and they see me. And that is a very wholesome feeling in itself🤍
I’m grateful that I can be a point of contact for women searching for answers or simply looking for someone who understands. If sharing my story helps someone feel less alone or take the first step toward finding answers, then I’m glad I chose to speak.
I intend to be an advocate for these kinds of issues women experience, so that the girl child does not feel unseen🌸
