@NZFreeSpeech Name suppression for thr perpetrator is absolutely stupid and wrong in general. For the victim - yes!!! Not for the criminal!!! And B4 someone starts nagging, for the situation: parent-criminal, child-victim, there can be special rules for media, but that's it.
@actparty Good start. Just extend this to the hospital security teams and give them at least tasers. It would also be wise to rework the current self-defense rules.
@rosey_nz@aniobrien Agree. We also need point 3. - educate people on real values, how to use internet and SM, to use critical thinking - all this to avoid them falling for empty election promises and unreal ideas. Just look around the world - it's turning shit because ppl vote for absolute shits.
@rosey_nz@NZPPTA@EricaStanfordMP@chrisluxonmp@winstonpeters@dbseymour As I just said under the original post - all unions should be investigated for being far-left extremists. Shove your communist and anarchist ideas you-know-where. Those ideologies ruined enough countries. Those who point fingers the most should be looked at first.
@henrycooke@ReganRLear Free in public system and LMC. But if someone decides to use private services, then yes, these are paid.
So basically, labs are trying for the big cities - first capped public transport, then free maternity care (hopefully they will be able to find out what a woman is by then).
@2ETEKA I could comment something like: greens are bunch of weirdos and lunatics in every country in the world. But I think I just stick to few emojis: ๐คฎ๐คฎ๐คฎ
Labourโs first election year policy shows they are straight back to their old ways of throwing money around rather than solving underlying problems.
Labour is once again trying to bribe New Zealanders with their own money. This is yet another spending promise from the Labour Party with no plan for how theyโll pay for it.
The National Land Transport Fund is already oversubscribed. The idea of siphoning a quarter of a billion dollars from the Fund to pay for this is fanciful. Ultimately this policy will require higher taxes or more borrowing.
This comes on top of billions of dollars in other spending promises they have made with no way to pay for it โ such as restoring pay equity, unwinding public sector savings, and how they will pay for their Future Fund.
For New Zealanders that means more taxes and more borrowing, which ultimately means higher inflation and interest rates, and greater pressure on the cost of living.
When it comes to tackling cost of living challenges, the difference between National and Labour couldn't be clearer.
Labour's approach is more subsidies, more handouts, and more temporary fixes โ none of which do anything to address the underlying causes of the cost-of-living pressures impacting Kiwi families.
National is focused on stopping wasteful spending to reduce inflation and growing the economy so New Zealanders can earn more and get ahead. The best way to address the cost-of-living is a growing economy that sees wages growing faster than prices.
It is time for Labour to be upfront with New Zealanders about how they will fund their hidden bill, either increasing taxes now or increasing borrowing to be paid back by future generations.
Higher taxes, more debt and larger deficits is a recipe for more inflation, higher interest rates, and a slower recovery, with fewer jobs and lower wages. That is the choice on offer from Labour, whether they admit it or not.
@WRP_NZ I totally support the bill. However, why the F is it always us, women, being so hated, attacked, and apparantely needing a legal definition?! How about "what is a man"?!

So, where are the criminal charges?! ๐คฌ Or is it all good now to find a person in questionable condition and let that person die?!
@actparty Hmm, regarding point 1. - this is quite generous, you should rather define the crimes (e.g. child abuse, rape, sex. assault, murder, manslaughter etc.) than the length of the sentence.
