In this episode of Unfiltered, Peta-Gay Ferguson reminds us that elections have consequences, but so does silence. Real change doesn't happen through frustration alone. It requires informed, consistent participation and a willingness to hold those in power accountable.
From transparency and integrity in public office to protecting our rights and demanding better governance, this conversation challenges every Jamaican to move beyond apathy and become an active participant in shaping our nation's future.
Watch, reflect and join the conversation. Jamaica deserves engaged citizens because the decisions made today will shape the Jamaica we inherit tomorrow.
@champion_walsh@GabrielaJMorris@Dreamz31@YoungJamaicaJLP@jlpjamaica The only time we hear of YJ and G2K is when you’re in a scandal or your party have you doing it’s dirty work. Keep the same energy when talking about policies or advocating on behalf of the Jamaican youth. I wouldn’t need to join the live to hear that. I’ll wait.
Congratulations to Premier Hon. Charles Washington Misick and the Progressive National Party on your resounding victory in the Turks and Caicos Islands! Your overwhelming mandate is a testament to the trust the people have placed in your progressive leadership and vision for a better future. The People's National Party stands in solidarity with you as we continue the shared mission of uplifting our people and advancing democracy in the region. Wishing you continued success as you lead with dedication and purpose. @TCIPremier
@ncbja your customer service is not giving at all. I fear it’s among the worst in Jamaica.
Imagine waiting for 28 minutes to get through to customer service only to be told to call back on Monday. The wait time is ridiculous and the staff… THEEE STAFF… OMG!
This admin has extracted 102.6 billion JMD in cash from the NHT over the last 9 years.
An indirect form of taxation that has allowed unprecedented resources to flow into the admins discretionary expenditure.
So forgive me if 300 social houses does not get me to sign and dance.
I’m canceling @amazon. I contacted customer service about an issue and was assured I’d be refunded. The rep obviously sold me a lie. Now Amazon is going to tell me the time has passed and they can’t do anything. Well, I canceled my Prime and the last order I made last night.
I suppose you either only read the headline or are unable to read with understanding.
@patsutherlandja’s questions are regarding equity and transparency. You’ve answered the “who” (MLSS) I now look forward to you telling us the “how.”
@YoungJamaicaJLP and G2K come debate with the PNPYO. Disrupting our youth forum and behaving like hooligans is not the way to go. READY when unnuh ready.
YJ and G2K members attending a PNPYO meeting for political education is fine—it’s always good to learn. What isn’t fine is attempting to disrupt the meeting with behavior reminiscent of Warmy and Cuthbert. Youths can't be this tribal and blatantly dunce.
Absolutely classless! They did not think of hosting a youth forum to engage Jamaican youth themselves. Their best bet was to come and behave like hooligans.
The young JLP members who joined the PNPYO’s online forum tonight mirrors Warmington & Cuthbert in behavior. Classless, childish & unfit for any sort of leadership role! 🤢
