Heavenly Father, we come before You this Wednesday morning, grateful for Your love and care. Thank You for the gift of life and for the new day that lies ahead.
Guide us in all that we do today. Help us to make wise choices, to speak kindly, and to act with compassion.
Your support has pushed us every single week. In the stadium, at home and everywhere around the world. That energy is with us on the pitch.
Let’s make it count. For us. For you. For Nassr.
See you tomorrow. 💥
The Church interprets history through the lens of the Gospel and speaks decisively against all evil, as the pilgrim People of God. At the same time, she acknowledges the need for continual conversion so she may properly fulfill her mission. As members of the same Body, we are called to renewal. #GeneralAudience

BEFORE THE PROCLAMATION OF THE GOSPEL DURING MASS, CATHOLICS PERFORM A GESTURE KNOWN AS THE
✅ "Threefold Sign Of The Cross,"
marking their forehead, lips, and heart.
This ritual is rich in meaning and serves as a prayerful preparation for receiving the Word of God.
Meaning of the Gesture
_________________________________
✅ Forehead: The first sign on the forehead symbolizes the desire for God's Word to be in our thoughts. It is a request for divine guidance in understanding the teachings of the Gospel.
✅ Lips: The second sign on the lips signifies the intention to speak the truth of the Gospel. It reflects a commitment to proclaim God's message and share it with others.
✅ Heart: The final sign over the heart represents the wish for God's Word to dwell within us, nurturing our faith and guiding our actions.
This gesture encapsulates a holistic approach to engaging with the Gospel, asking that it be present in our minds, spoken through our words, and felt in our hearts, thereby transforming our lives
What to Pray When the Eucharist is Raised at Consecration
At every Mass, there is a sacred moment when time seems to stand still. The priest raises the consecrated Host high above the altar and says,
“This is My Body.”
In that instant, Heaven touches earth. Jesus is truly present, Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity, right before our eyes.
It’s not just a ritual. It’s a moment of deep adoration.
So what should we pray in that holy silence?
Here are a few powerful prayers you can say silently in your heart as the Host is elevated:
. “My Lord and my God!”
These are the words of St. Thomas the Apostle when he saw the risen Christ. A perfect act of faith in Jesus’ Real Presence in the Eucharist.
. “Jesus, I love You. I adore You. I believe in You. I trust in You.”
Simple, heartfelt, and so pleasing to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
. “O Sacrament most holy, O Sacrament divine, all praise and all thanksgiving be every moment Thine.”
. “Lord, have mercy on me, a sinner.”
Said with true humility before the One who can forgive everything.
. “Jesus, I adore You with the Heart of Mary.”
Uniting our poor love with Our Lady’s perfect love.
. Whisper your own private intentions
The Elevation is the high point of the Holy Mass. Don’t let it pass by in distraction. Let your heart rise with the Host. Look at Jesus and adore Him. This is the moment He gives Himself completely to us, let us give ourselves completely to Him.
Next time you’re at Mass, be ready. When the priest lifts up Our Lord, let your soul whisper its love.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus,
I trust in You♥️ .
Mary, Refuge of Sinners, pray for us that we may be freed from habits that weaken our souls and keep us far from God. Obtain for us the grace of discipline, sincerity, and perseverance. Help us choose holiness each day and walk in the freedom Christ has won for us. Amen🙏🏽
