@nadalprop_ This statistics is due to the fact that Nadal retired and had only few matches against him when the Italian was still very young. Sinner in the last two years would beat Nadal anywhere he catches him, including in Paris.
Messi alongside Ronaldo played in all continents where the World Cup was held. He scored goals in all of them except South Africa. Messi is currently tied with Klose as the top scorer so if he manages to score two more goals and make it 18 in total, he will have 3 goals on average at every continental forum.
2006 - Europe
2010 - Africa
2014 - South America
2018 - Russia (can be considered a continent itself) or alternatively Australia
2022 - Asia
2026 - North America
@MessiXtraHQ Approximately 170 games less! This makes 4 complete seasons if we assume Messi plays 42 games in a season with Miami plus some international ones with Argentina.
@thehouseoffootb Ibrahimovic explained it in his own style π. There is also one thing which separates Messi from all the rest. He plays this game with an ease which is unmatched.
@ChessLordK Well, Portugal is a smaller country when compared to the big powers in football. So it is not surprising when they missed some tournaments. Even Italy is doing this nowadays. However, every Portuguese can be proud of Brazil. π
@Zwxsh There is one key difference between the two even though football and tennis are quite different sports. Nadal didn't have that longevity except on clay. Messi praises Nadal here but he is wrong.
@CroatiaFooty I want both teams to go far in the tournament and I don't want Croatia to play Brazil in a possible quarterfinal again. So let's see what happens in the groups. A tactical draw will be good for both teams. This match should have been played last in the group.
@laligafraudss Already 16 goals for Messi π. This is his last World Cup so he will definitely try to score more goals and take the lead. Mbappe however is near and can play two more World Cups for France except this one. So he'll take the overall lead one day for sure.
@Globalstats11 Pele is right up there with Messi. 3 World Cups won! Nobody will ever do it again. If he was not injured in 1966, Pele and Brazil would definitely go for four in a row.
@WinnaFC Messi also has more than 410 assists, the most in history. This is often underestimated. Hope he continues playing for three more seasons in Miami after the World Cup in order to score 1000 goals.
@UTD_Seth001 Zidane is right as usual. Algeria played with too much respect and let Argentina punish them easily. Messi did deserve a yellow card for that foul though.
The Iranian players are under enormous pressure in their home country mostly because of their families! This means that they are instructed to say things that suit the position of certain people in Iran. It doesn't matter whether they support the regime or not. So let them play football and ask them questions about their performance with respect to the game itself.
If Nadal has more wins in the GS finals than all of his biggest rivals separately, then why couldn't he finish with the most Grand Slam titles overall? π
He desperately wanted to surpass Federer, which he did (with the help of banned substances however). He couldn't even play professional tennis because of the problems with his foot. Only to be cut short when he was still an active player by DjokoviΔ who was more consistent than Nadal over their entire careers.
Consistency over Cherry picking!
The Djoker is enjoying his life and still playing tennis at a very high level. I'm sure he'll visit the US after Wimbledon campaign because this guy is interested in many sports. Hopefully after 12th of July. From the grass in London to the grass in America. π
PS: Djoker, next time you pay a visit to F1 race, drop by for a while to the current leader at the moment of F2. The boy will be elated to see you and exchange words with you in our languages. π
@LegionHoops@nicekicks Jordan is happy for the Knicks who won the championship after more than half a century. After all he was born in New York. The truth, however, is that when Jordan was playing for the Bulls, the Knicks couldn't beat them in the playoffs.
@colyn_greene@jazzycarper11@nadalprop_ This is not an excuse why Nadal lost to literally unknown players at the early stages of Wimbledon, usually going to the tournament with the confidence of a champion in Paris. Nadal did have multiple shocking defeats on grass and hard court and this cannot be underestimated.
