I've spent my 20+ year career in finance and technology. I'm a passionate believer that when used together those 2 fields can help us all get financially fit.

@coryanne_hicks In addition to market ups and downs, long term investors need to ignore the daily news cycle. Long term success is all about building a well diversified portfolio with the right balance of equities and other asset classes to match an individual’s risk tolerance & time horizon.
Excellent financial perspective spanning from Benjamin Franklin to today. A reminder that these issues may not be new, but that we do have new tools to address them. @evatiinc

Fantastic visual of the costs of being out of the market, a cost implicit in $ cost averaging. Still, I plead guilty of using the tool to get clients over the hurdle of investing in a market they feel is at a high valuation level. It’s hard to graph that psychological benefit.
It’s great to see awareness about these issues growing. Honest stories are a powerful way to help people see the real impact that decisions about money has on all of our lives.
