I am somewhat concerned. First of all, he chose not to confess his sin for 5 years. He lived a lie and was hypocritical in his preaching all that time. He only confessed when he was found out. And now he writes a book about his sin which will likely make him lots of money. The optics aren't good at all.

As you read posts from those who claim to be Christians, pastors, preachers, prophets, priests, professors, and Bible teachers, remember what God tells you in His Word so you are not deceived:

“Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. “You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they? “So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. “A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. “Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. “So then, you will know them by their fruits."
