Military Airstrikes killed 8 terrorists in North East Nigeria

In furtherance of sustained onslaught against remnant of terrorists in the Northeast, Nigerian Air Force (NAF) aircraft under Operation Hakin Kai, while on armed reconnaissance mission took out a gun truck with about 8 terrorists at Baranga Village in Marte Local Government Area of Borno State, earlier today, 20 September 2013. The opportunity strike, which presented itself unexpectedly, occurred when 2 armed terrorists on a motorcycle along an active track were trailed. After sighting the aircraft, the terrorists took cover under a thick vegetation. Upon engaging the vegetation cover, a gun truck with 8 terrorists suddenly appeared, speeding off to evade the attack. Subsequently, the gun truck was engaged and destroyed, thus eliminating the terrorists. 

Remnants of terrorists in the Northeast continue to seek the covers of thick forests and vegetation to evade being detected by the Armed Forces of Nigeria and other security agencies.

Nigerian Troops killed 5 terrorists in Bama

Troops of “Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK)”, in collaboration with Civilian Joint Task Force and HYBRID forces have neutralized five  Boko Haram terrorists in Bama local government area of Borno State.

It was gathered that the troops stormed the insurgents enclaves in the Abbaram General area located a few kilometers from Bama on September 21, 2023.

The terrorists have been  kidnapping farmers and demanding ransom ranging from 3 Million and above  from members of their families. 

Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama, a Counterinsurgency Expert and Security Analyst in the LakeChad region that the troops stormed the enclave by surprise and eliminated the terrorists while one female suspected to be a wife of one of the terrorists was rescued.

The troops chased the fleeing terrorists toward the KUKATARA HIlls, killing some of the wounded terrorists who could not escape.

The troops also recovered 1PKT Machine gun, 2 Ak 47 rifles, 4 Magazines, 1 locally made pistol,  22 PKT rounds of 7.62×54MM empty PKT links, 5 motorcycles and 1 woodland camouflage jungle hat among others.

The Nigerian Special Forces Troops of Forward Operating Base Raka Operation HADARIN DAJI  have killed several bandits in the North West of Sokoto State. 

It was gathered that the troops recorded the feats on September 24, 2023 during an aggressive clearance operation in Tokhkatara forest in Sokoto State.

Intelligence source told Zagazola Makama, a Security Analyst and Counter Insurgency Expert in the Lake Chad Region that the troops engaged the bandits in a heavy gun battle and overpowered them with superior fire power, killing several of them while many others escaped with bullet wounds.

Troops eliminate terrorist Commander, Ari Ghana, five others in Takaskala ambush

Troops of 144 Battalion in collaboration with hybrid forces have nutrialised a top Commander of the Jamā'at Ahl as-Sunnah lid-Da'wah wa'l-Jihād (Boko Haram), Ari Ghana, and five of his bodyguards in the North East state of Borno.

The notorious Commander recently led an attack on a military escort patrol at Nvaha Village along Gwoza to Limankara, killing four passengers and military personnel.

Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama, a Counter-Insurgency Expert and Security Analyst in the Lake Chad region that the troops engaged and killed the terrorists in Takaskala in Gwoza Local Government Area.

He said "On September 25, our troops laid an ambush in the crossing point of the terrorists around the Mandara Mountains. After one hour, a large number of terrorists came to cross with motorcycles.

"On noticing that the team were two in number, the troops waited for the second badge suspecting that it was Ari Gana and his team. The troops opened fire at them killing five terrorists including Ari Gana.

Before meeting his Waterloo, Ari Gana was the second in command of Ali Ngulde, the Leader of Boko Haram in Mandara Mountain and had led dozens of attacks around Bama, Banki and Gwoza.

Early September, the Ari Gana led an IED attack between Banki and Darajamal killing several persons and burning vehicles.

The death of Ari Ghana was another heavy blow on the Jamā'at Ahl as-Sunnah lid-Da'wah wa'l-Jihād (Boko Haram), terrorists group.

The sources who was a top military commander said that the successful ambush was in continuation of the troops' renewed offensive operations against the terrorists in Borno State.

My aviation source tells me that the reason NAF 001 with Bola Tinubu onboard spent so many hours in Algeria where it appeared to be stuck is that Niger refused permission for Tinubu to fly through Nigèrien airspace and threatened to shoot his plane out of the sky if he dared.

NAF 001 subsequently had to stop in Algeria to plot a new flight route to Abuja. They tried to cut through the southwestern tip of Niger, but they have just been forced to leave Nigèrien airspace!

They've just entered Burkina Faso!
