TerraVision360 is at #COFS26! Come see us at the show. Proud to be here with @PRIDESeeds showcasing how you can build up your network of stations to create full-season decision support
1/ Launching TerraVision360 ๐พ
A full-season work-planning solution connecting soil, weather, and equipment intelligence โ from seeding to harvest and back.
โจย Today, weโre announcing @withPlenty : where couples invest and plan for their future together. โจ
Itโs our first step towards becoming the home where families collaboratively manage their financial lives.

@KeenanZucker great read, I did a very similar experiment (and article) for a different type of website. Came to pretty much the same conclusions ๐

I used #GPT4 to help me build a website. Remember "Hot or not"? I built https://t.co/vRQydjIu3h, where you guess whether an image is AI-generated or created by a human artist
I also wrote an article on my experience, coming from a web dev background. Some highlights:

@KevlinHenney Completely agree. I did an experiment using GPT4 to create a basic website, and while it started well, it needed more and more"human guidance" the deeper things went

@realBrookNash I made a game based on a very similar premise, can you tell whether an image is AI generated or not (and wrote about my experience using AI to build it)

@nickfloats I built a (proof of concept) website around this very idea, can you tell the whether an image is AI generated or not!

@rikognition@nickfloats I made a (proof of concept) game with this exact idea! Dataset is digital art, not photographs, but still

Now for where GPT could "use some improvements":
- it couldn't remember variable names. At various times it gave me code for <button id="bot">, <button id="bot-btn">, and <button id="botButton">. This got really frustrating; towards the end I just retyped most of GPT's code

@jasongorman I wrote an article about this exact issue - as an experienced programmer, GPT4 helped with the "boring stuff" (and yes, clarity of thought), but I also had to explicitly call GPT out when it introduced an XSS vulnerability

@MassimoMTG for sure. Not sure whether chatGPT would be the best for this, but certainly there must be _some_ AI image analysis tool. It would be interesting to see if this would work at a micro or macro vision level

So... AI is definitely coming for parts of our jobs. It's up to us to embrace it and use it
Glad to answer any questions about the experience. In the meantime, go play https://t.co/vRQydjIu3h!

GPT really excels as a super-powered tool for speeding up boring, grindy tasks, leaving you free to focus on the fun part of building... whatever that may be for you
