@CityofYork This advertising van has been parked all afternoon at ///cape.simulates.distorts (north ring road at Earswick) - does it have Council permission? It's parked on your land
@CrossCountryUK On train WiFi. I know this is free so I'm reluctant to comment but these speeds are really poor. And I'm on a fairly quiet train so there's not much demand (16:37 YRK-BHM). It's a typical case of over promise and under deliver.
HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone, we hope you have a fantastic and prosperous 2025. Why not start your New Year with something Magical and book your tickets to see 'Where the Magic Begins!', a Brand New Origin story by telling the enchanting beginnings of Cinderella.
Really unimpressed with @barnardos furniture collection service. Arranged a collection today (Wednesday) and the agents said collection last night. Then last night they said no, Thursday. Now: just received a text saying they're not interested.
@BoxmoveUK Really not impressed with your service, getting totally messed around. You changed a collection date twice and just now it has been permanently cancelled.
Look what I've just come across...the amazing @georginajac venturing to the frozen North again! (well, Leeds...) that's a date at Jazz in the Spa, Boston Spa. Fab.
Looks like a newspaper owned by the Fourth Lord Rothermere, who inherited it from the Third Lord Rothermere, who inherited it from the Second Lord Rothermere, who inherited it from the First Lord Rothermere, is bitterly opposed to Labour's plans for inheritance tax
@IanDunt I'd leave this place tomorrow if it wasn't for the (small) number of corporate accounts that I follow and depend on - mainly train operating companies. Strange that not one of them has dipped their toes into the blue butterfly. Wonder if that's a directive from above?
Quietly devastating indictment of the past 14 years of chaos, incompetence and mismanagement of the GB rail industry by @DavidShirres in the latest @therailengineer Well worth a read.
