Hiker and slow runner in nature. Need the tonic of wildness. Music, books, comedy, ecology. Meat free since ’83.

@katermaus11 @QueenofBloranj @ZebedeeTyke @mattenmurg @siroccosounds @RileyW_ @DrAshleyMorgan1 @JudiMantere @TristanBeer Thanks Katja, I needed that today 💜

[Andy Clay @peter_potters]

@ravbillan @F1 That's just how mine work! Only not with emojis - eg Elleaitchtee

[Andy Clay @peter_potters]

@RikSellwood @runningpunks Are those the roadflys?

[Andy Clay @peter_potters]

Afternoon @runningpunks 8 miles for today's #vrc and the 1st week over 25 miles for a while, as I try and sensibly build up fitness again. After ditching the Hokas, touch wood this winter is the first in 2 years I've not had an injury from doing mostly roads instead of trails

[Andy Clay @peter_potters]

@DrAshleyMorgan1 @runningpunks @stufoster65 It was a very fine night Doc. You can see the back of Stu's head here, after he disappeared into the mosh pit 😃

[Andy Clay @peter_potters]

Morning @runningpunks A fine day in Manchester yesterday. Lunch with son 2 at Mowgli followed by an excellent gig at Gorilla - The Meffs - in the company of @stufoster65
Concise review: You should go and see these cos they are fucking ace! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

[Andy Clay @peter_potters]

Hey @runningpunks Pre-work run, ignore such signs* the countryside belongs to everybody not just a few!

[Andy Clay @peter_potters]

@ravbillan Lots of fun! And the snow was pretty 🙂❄️

[Andy Clay @peter_potters]

𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗣𝘂𝗻𝗸𝟴 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗲! Now you too can experience the thrills and spills enjoyed out in the ice and snow, on the flat and downhills of PP8.

Afternoon @runningpunks a bit of scouting done for PeakPunks9 today. Details coming soon 🙂

[Andy Clay @peter_potters]

Morning @runningpunks 10k morning run done for today's #vrc, next up breakfast, then out to do some hiking around a possible PeakPunks9 route.
Less snow than on last Sunday's PeakPunks8 today 🙂

[Andy Clay @peter_potters]

@ravbillan Yep, get the date for PP9 and also some side adventures sorted soon.
Some fine green daps in action in that photo too 🙂

[Andy Clay @peter_potters]

PeakPunks8 done! A small group of intrepid punks braved the minus temperatures, snow and ice to complete the 10k of flat and downhill yesterday. Featuring Rav, Bobby D, Dean, Jon, Matt T, Pete, Amy.
Details of PeakPunks9 coming soon 🙂💜💚

[Andy Clay @peter_potters]

@ravbillan @susietsegay Definitely 🙂💚💜

[Andy Clay @peter_potters]

@ravbillan 😂😂😂

[Andy Clay @peter_potters]

@Broken_punk1005 @runningpunks It was posted on here Geoff but mainly now through runningpunks.peakdistrict on Insta.

[Andy Clay @peter_potters]

Hey @runningpunks PeakPunks8 definitely still on! It's like Narnia out there! Route checked this morning
about 1cm of soft snow gave plenty of grip, no ice, not slippy, sunny.
You will kick yourself if you don't come 🙂
Totally runnable. Roads are all clear and freshly gritted.
