An open letter to America, the morning after 4-1. My first for @MondeSportif.
"Football belongs to the people. It always has. It always will. It is played in every corner of the earth, and it has never once asked permission."
Appreciate anyone who has a moment to give it a read 👇
…an open letter to the 𝐔𝐒𝐀 🇺🇸
@Duke0fLondon reflects on the 𝐔𝐒 exit from their own tournament…and how they should take great heart in defeat.
A sport that lives beyond the chimes of mere victory.

Genuine shame this gathering of paid subjects went down in a London hotel room rather than Saudi — the Porta Potty gag writes itself.
More great writing, give it a read 👇
Fantastic investigative journalism by @OscarrPickk on white collar boxing. I have always wondered what stops experienced lads sandbagging training then flattening a beginner on fight night, to impress all of their friends sat at ringside.
Feels almost predatory — an event taking place in a University town, full of add-on fees aimed at young lads, many without the life experience to ask the safety questions Oscar did, or turn down a fight three weight classes above them.
Sam Jones inspirational quotes are rapidly becoming one of the highlights of my week.
Another great read, I'll say it again: turn the volume up on the right voices. 🥊
No sportswashing. No press-conference pantomime.
Just three blokes and York Hall — the spiritual home of British boxing, where the ring’s close enough to taste.
Well worth a subscribe 👇
Not often that I'm left speechless.
I wonder if Mauricio & Conor Benn share the same PR team, because if they do, they should fire them, immediately.
Disappointment, Mauricio?
We get that off sanctioning bodies weekly. You reckon Usyk vacating by video looks like AI. Have you seen your own rankings?
Benn ranked first at welterweight while four years out of the division. A kickboxer eighth at heavyweight, and he got there by losing.
A fighter handed a WBC belt in Tashkent the same day his three-year steroid ban landed as highlighted by the main man @Boxing_Tribune
Glass houses and all that 👍
Did the private detectives of Boxing Twitter ever get to the bottom of why Adam Catterall scrubbed his X page?
My timeline feels noticeably lighter without the TalkSPORT clips of him force-feeding fans Zuffa Boxing as if we were duck’s being fattened for foie gras.
There's a rare romance to a man who writes about boxing while trying to etch his own name into its history.
Following in the footsteps of a proud Irish line — Taylor, Frampton, Donovan — to headline the historic York Hall is some achievement.
A fascinating insight into such a man — @LeeGormley on the latest @SportDeSang : https://t.co/KhpvNaEoj8
I'll certainly be tuning in.
