Hungarian Vizsla wrangler. I'm also sanctioned by Russia and Senior Adjunct Fellow @FDD. Doomscroller and author of the awesome book BREAKING ROCKEFELLER.
There are too many hot takes flying around on the Iran MOU.
For a fair, line-by-line breakdown: Check my @FDD colleague @mdubowitz's analysis. He steelmans the Trump admin’s best arguments, then shows the serious flaws. It's astonishing how Trump undercut his leverage with Obama-esque payoffs to the IRGC. Details matter. Via @schoolofwarpod. Link below.
This White House rhetoric is neither helpful nor accurate.
1. Those IRGC "guys in caves" control the Iranian government.
2. If the IRGC has nothing but "rubber bands," why isn't @CENTCOM sailing freedom-of-navigation escorts through the Strait right now?
(Well said, @mercoglianos!)
I want to put Kevin Hassett on the deck of a ship and have him sail through the Strait of Hormuz and see how reacts to Iranian "rubber bands" shooting at him.
As we celebrate 🇺🇸 #America250, take time to consider this excellent reflection on "how America’s founding inspires its strategy in the world" by @AmbDanFried.
Trump should end Iran’s winning streak at the negotiating table
For Tehran, negotiation is war by other means. Iran’s rulers think Trump is as beatable as his predecessors, writes @FDD@CliffordDMay https://t.co/nBrrKRpzuX
If Medvedev follows the Islamic Republic’s alcohol ban, he might finally enjoy a few days of sobriety.
It would be a genuine miracle at the Supreme Leader’s funeral.
Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev will attend the funeral ceremony for Supreme Leader of the Islamic regime in Iran, Ali Khamenei in Tehran.
Medvedev will participate as a special representative of Putin.
Khamenei was eliminated by the Israeli airstrike 4 months ago.
The Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, for all its shortcomings, turns out to have been a far better alternative for its constituent peoples than subjugation under the Russian Empire. An anniversary worth celebrating.
Iran has exported 50 million barrels of crude oil since the US-imposed blockade was lifted two weeks ago. This equates to 1.66 million barrels per day for June 2026. Most other countries in the region are still nowhere near pre-war levels.

The joke's on the IRGC. Vance, Rubio, Witkoff, Kushner, Hegseth, Ratcliffe, etc -- one team, one mission, one boss. The Iranians consume our media, internalize it as reality and then spew it back as their own information operation.
A major focus of the NATO summit next week is defense spending. At the 2025 Hague Summit, NATO members committed to allocating "at least 3.5% of GDP annually" on defense by 2035.
NATO members agreed "to submit annual plans showing a credible, incremental path to reach this goal."
In Ankara next week, it is time for NATO members to put their money where their mouths are. Talk is cheap. Let's see the expenditures, budgets, and plans.
Why does this matter?
Because if members don't spend the necessary amounts on defense they will not have the military capability and capacity required to defend themselves, fulfill their responsibilities to the alliance, carry more of the burden on the European continent, and deter aggression.
Many allies are stepping forward. Some are not. It is accountability time next week.
It was a beautiful day at #WestPoint and an honor to stand next to a great Polish hero @FrackowiakFilip and a great American hero @GarySinise.
I can think of few who care and do more for 🇺🇸soldiers, #FirstResponders and especially wounded veterans and families, than #GarySinise and his @GarySiniseFound - Thank you sir!
As well, I can think of few who care and do more to share and educate about the history of the #ColdWar, and Poland’s pivotal role in the collapse of the evil SovietRussian empire, than #FilipFrąckowiak. Filip is Director of 🇵🇱’s General #RyszardKuklinski/#ColdWarMuseum @MZWKuklinski. This important museum should be at the top of the list to visit, for Poles, all visitors to Poland and especially - when time allows - 🇺🇸/NATO soldiers deployed to Poland.
Filip is deeply concerned about ensuring Poles and foreign visitors (especially younger generations) understand the heroism of 🇵🇱Gen #RyszardKuklinski, the heroism of freedom-loving Poles - who help end the ColdWar - and importantly, the Tragedy and Costs of communism.
Today’s urgent mission is to educate about the dangers of a communist reboot. This is more important than ever with new communist movements on the march in Europe and America. Institutions like Filip’s and additionally in America, #VictimsOfCommunism @VoCommunism, should be strongly supported by donors, so that they can expand capabilities and their reach to help expose the lies of new-generation communists who are gaining influence especially among young people in Europe/America and around the world.
Back to the WestPoint photo my great friend Filip posted. We were together at WestPoint for the annual General #TadeuszKościuszko
Conference and Commemorations, organized by the “Association for the American Friends of Kościuszko at WestPoint” #AAFKWP. Filip and I both had the opportunity to brief about Poland at the conference, Filip about the ColdWar and Museum, and me about the crucial importance of permanently assigning the right mix of 🇺🇸forces to Poland.
It was an honor for me and Filip to meet 7 Polish cadets, attending WestPoint, and another 15 🇺🇸Army cadets, all part of WestPoint’s #KościuszkoSquadron. The Kościuszko Squadron honors the legacy of 🇵🇱🇺🇸hero Gen Tadeusz Kościuszko, who along with Gen #KazimierzPulaski, helps America win her independence. It’s thanks to these two brilliant and brave Polish officers that 250 years ago, the vital and strong #PolishAmericanAlliance is launched.
Gen Pulaski will lay down his life for American liberty at the #BattleOfSavannah. And, so important is Gen Kościuszko to the defense of WestPoint, the founding of the @WestPoint_USMA, and founding of America, that the First-ever monument established at WestPoint is not for a 🇺🇸hero, it’s for Gen Kościuszko. Of Gen Kościuszko, President #ThomasJefferson says, “He is as pure a son of liberty as I have ever known, and of that liberty which is to go to all, and not to the few or rich alone.”
Finally, instead of indoctrinating today’s students about the false virtues of socialism and communism, we’d all be better served teaching them about patriotism, freedom, liberty and the heroes who represent these values. A great place to start is with Polish/American heroes and citizens, Gen Tadeusz Kościuszko and Gen Kazimierz Pulaski, who like many Poles say for centuries,
“We Fight, #ForYourFreedomAndOurs”

#PolishAmericanAlliance250
Parisian Deputy Mayor @AudreyPulvar is blaming American A/C units for France's heat wave. We will not be taking lifestyle lectures from the Left Bank as thousands die in Europe from poor planning.
Wait until she learns about the walk-in refrigerators at our Wawas.
Or "insurance," or "environmental impact payments," or "licences." It’s just an extortion racket by the IRGC.
The White House must not play this game with the Islamic Republic.
Horrific. Putin, like many Soviet and Russian leaders before him, treats his own people as expendable. The millions who fought the Nazis defended their homeland. Today’s dead are being sacrificed for an unjust war of aggression.
