the only reason mj put two and two together and discovered peter was spider-man is because she was so infatuated with him that she monitored his every move in high school LIKE 😭 mcu mj has literally never shown any signs of being into only spider-man. spidey is just a bonus for her. it's peter peter she is (was) in love with.
