Peter Best

Peter Best. Avid reader and writer. Author of The Burden of Truth and The Seeds of Lies. But all he wants to say is live life and be happy. That's all.

Not just for The Seeds of Lies, but The Burden of Truth too. For the months of May and June all money earned from any of my books are going to go to a NHS Care charity. That means £1.69 for every download from Amazon kindle. #NHSheroes #NHSThankYou https://t.co/KOomHsXQE6

@JamesCleverly According to the reports, the French police let 50 migrants continue their journey. My question is, why are we paying the French millions to stop them when they are letting them carry on with a very dangerous journey? They should be helping to protect them by stopping them.

@bookouture I’ve often said I would like to be educated when I read a book. By the way, all the others are also extremely important too. But, we all know that surely.

Coronation concert! Not sure this is a fair way of doing things like we were promised. To be told when you have won the tickets only to find it is actually a first come first served system and completely the opposite to they said wouldn’t happen. #coronation #bbc #Ticketmaster

[Tana Collins @TanaCollins7]

I don't promote my own books often enough, but I've just discovered that the first in the series and my debut novel is on a special offer of only 99p for Kindle. Go grab a copy if you enjoy Scottish crime

@DWPhotography76 Can you tell me exactly whereabouts in Essex these Saltmarshs are please? We were watching a program on Netflix last week and we were trying to work out where the marshes were in the film. Perhaps these are the same ones. Just a thought.

[Peter Best @peterbestauthor]

@HISTORY Is it Winston Churchill by any chance?

[Peter Best @peterbestauthor]

@davepperlmutter Here’s a couple of my mine. I absolutely loved making these. Took an age mind you but great fun. Take care everyone.

[Peter Best @peterbestauthor]

@MollyJGreeley @WmMorrowBooks This is a great cover. Exciting and eye catching too.

[Peter Best @peterbestauthor]

@fosterreadsoffl Don’t worry you’ll get them in time. Anyway I’ve followed you.

[Peter Best @peterbestauthor]

@brynnewrites Best of luck. Many bookshops have spaces for local authors. Hope you do well and I’m sure you will.

[Peter Best @peterbestauthor]

@klhicks912 Others have described my writing as strong, dramatic and straight to the point. I’m happy with that to be honest.

[Peter Best @peterbestauthor]

@davepperlmutter This’s one is one of mine and the one I loved writing the most.

[Peter Best @peterbestauthor]

@BethRigby One of the questions towards the end was about how the candidates could improve. I think if Liz Truss can be just that little bit better at getting her points across she will be a great PM. Just my thoughts though.

[Peter Best @peterbestauthor]

@BethRigby To be honest I didn’t think anyone would have gained anything from this debate. Too much interruption for me which was a shame as we all wanted to hear answers to questions and not squabbling.

[Peter Best @peterbestauthor]

@annecater I didn’t go but you’ll get no bull from me. I’ve loved seeing all the photos of everyone having a great time. Hopefully I will be able to go next year, if not then I hope to see some more of you all having a great time.

[Peter Best @peterbestauthor]

For all my authors friends out there, or aspiring authors, this is well worth looking at. Dreams of becoming a full-time author https://t.co/A8CzopvpZu

@RedLionBooks @CorsairBooks @fishersamuk This was a great night. Really enjoyed it.

If it’s true that Shell has just bought a tanker load of oil from the Russians at a record low price, I will never fill up at a Shell garage again. To be honest I’m shocked at how low a company can go. #Ukraine #UkraineRussiaWar

[Peter Best @peterbestauthor]

@sbairden I can relate to this as I had a terrible time with my second and third book. But, at the end it worked out fine as I’m sure it will for you too. Keep at it and you’ll get there, just keep enjoying your writing if you can. All the best.

@WritersDigest Now this is what I need. Going to have a good look at this.
